Rocket Launcher

So, I converted a nerf rocket launcher to run off of green gas using an intake nozzle from a WE 1911 magazine.  However, it doesn't shoot very far.  Does anyone have any suggestions to make it more powerful?

Without knowing what you are using to discharge the green gas, it would be hard to know how to help.

I have gotten pretty good range using madbull paintball 203 rounds using green gas. You have to find a nice balance between the seal of the round in the barrel, a quick dump valve and the right gas/air volume to push it.
