AEG to GBB?
« on: September 23, 2012, 05:25:17 PM »
I've owned G&G G4 for a few years, and I've recently been turned on to gas rifles since using a friend's KWA LM4.  Unfortunately, I am unable to afford an LM4 (or any GBBR for that matter), so I was wondering, is there any way to convert an AEG to a GBBR, and if so, how much would the conversion cost?

You can buy the ghk gbb gearbox, or the new g&g gbb combat machine. The g&g is basically the same as the ghk but a complete gun. While it is not your true gbbr experience, it is much cheaper to start on. Mags will be pricey though. But that is your best option.

The price on almost all GBB mags ends up kind of horrendous, however, if you're like me, you'll enjoy the realism of carrying a GBBR enough to at least get a few lol.  If you're looking for a budget GBBR, you can get an ACM like I did ($200 on airsplat) or a Well (not sure how the quality holds up next to an ACM) and with a few minor upgrades and some proper magazines, you'll be up and running in no time!  I've been working with the WA M4 platform for about 3 years or so now, so if you have any questions, feel free to drop me a PM!
