I'm curious as well. I have a couple of MP5 bodies collecting dust. An SD6 would be kind of sweet.
Ivan, have you seen Wolverine's SMP? Might be perfect for an MP5 platform.

I was thinking an mp5 but now I realize that I want to try a UMP cause I already have the gearbox. I could probably make my mp5k work because it takes that gearbox.

P* UMP would be neat. Post up pics if you build one.

UMP has been one of my favs since forever.  A P* version would be nice to see.

So I did so the mp5 p* project. I decided to go with:

Classic army aftermarket upgrade B&T chassis upper with ak style hop up
Green g&g bucking
Madbull black v3 barrel cut down
Classic army lower
ICS A4 front end with the lighted forearm pictured
Marui railed forend (not pictured)
Redline grip connect

SRC supressor to hide the extra barrel length.

Everything went together ok. I am using the stock Un-modified p* m4 blue nozzle with zero feeding problems
I did have to modify the p* trigger cutoff lever to make it lock the trigger in safe. Too short. Added a little piece of zip tie and filed it.

Other than that I routed the wiring like Rudy recommended on bingo airsoft works website and ran the wire to the front. It has just enough room to fit through without modifying the B&T body at all. However the bolt open /hopup cover piece is a tight for the wiring and sticks open 1/4 inch.

Here's a pic.

I ran it through a few games last night at fighter town with minor fcu settings and was getting decent range with .32 goldenball bb's.

Only problem I saw was the grip connect set nut backed off a little. Otherwise I am confident to use this guy at lionclaws for 2 days next week.
