Yup! thats gonna be the first thing i do when i get up there.  If we leave anthem around 2:30 we wont be up there until about 4:30... unless we try not to ditch charlie on the road... then it might be more like 7... JK lol. either way, if anyone is worried about getting there before us or just wants to be sure, pm me and ill send you my cell # just in case.

i got one person (greg) bringing firewood up.. and he'll be riding with infindrag (nick). i haven't played airsoft in the rain... that would be freaking cool though! i can't wait to see everyone geared up and ready to kill..

ps just in case.. if you got wood in the bed of a truck might wanna remember a tarp to cover it on the way up--rain--wet wood=no fire

Ok, tentative plan for those wanting to go up early on Saturday.

If we get the OK from Team Myrmidon(cause those wusses aren't going up till later :P )

Meet and greet @ the Chevron in Anthem @ 09:00, leave for the Strawberry AO @ 09:30ish.  The sooner I get out of town the better, plus I drive so slow that the Myrmidons might arrive at the same time anyway.  :P

I just looked at the weather forcast for sunday... 40% chance of rain (no biggie!)... but the first thing i saw made me think of the last game i played at four peaks where i sweat my balls off... the high for sunday is 72... :D

Go for it buddy... if you can get out to the spot that we are gonna be camping at, go for it... but its not the easiest place to find. i think our best bet would be to go out together... i'll be the first person that will be able to leave from our team and i should be able to be at anthem at two... the dirt road out will get ya lost...

and just for the wuss comment charlie... i think we are gonna go tan for this game 8)

There are some going to be in the convoy that played at last game.  Is the game gonna be at the same spot.  If so we should be OK, if not then perhaps we need to reconsider.

Oh and did I say I was going green? maybe I'll go tan, hehe jk :lol:

My descendants are come from a long line of ancient ninja trackers from the Pyun-Nyani province, a region know for its treacherous terrain.  I should have no problem finding it...

EDIT:
The Google map links are about a half mile further up the road than the actual turn off it seems.  These are the coordinates I pulled off of Google Earth -
Turn off:
34*27'03.63 N
111*25'04.59 W

Camping area:
34*26'53.00 N
111*25'24.24 W

I'll try to mark the turn off for those that get there head of time with something.  Maybe a paper plate with a big "A" on it nailed to a tree on the side of the road.

Had A great time saturday scouting and playin grab ass with Drew. Even better time sunday goin for cone poles. That is a great AO. Good Times!!!! Can't wait to play there again.
