Quick intro, my name is Mark McDonald i'm a graduating Senior at Deer Valley, 18 years old, friends with Andrew Diaz[Zealot] who visits these forums.

I am selling a marui Ak47 it has upgraded gears and a 110 spring, tight bore barrel, and shoots at about 330 fps with a .25 gram bb. It has a real wood kit on it and comes with 4 mags and a 9.6v battery.
I'm asking $170, cash only.

I need to sell it ASAP, bills, and the need to pay for college classes, are piling up which is why i'm selling it cheap.

I'll have pictures up soon, saturday at the latest, and as of now I can only cater to the Glendale area, anything further i.e. scottsdale, tempe we can arrange for a halfway meeting point.

Please, serious buyers only, not to be rude, but I don't have time to waste.
The gun works absolutely fine, Zealot [Andrew] has been in possession of the gun and takes very good care of the item.

Also, if you want to buy a digital camcorder too, i'll put both items together for a steal at $300

Here's a link to the camcorder, it's the exact model i'm selling, i've only used it a handful of times, works flawlessly, again, bills require that I sell it off. I'll sell it separately for $170 as well.

Thanks for looking... if you have any further questions, shoot me a PM and I can give you my contact phone number.
I'll have pictures up soon.

I'm done monitoring this post, the tickets were not collected by anyone.
Thanks for all your participation, or lack of. ;)

Yes, that's right, I am giving away two absolutely, no strings attached, free D-Back VS. Padres Tickets.

The seats are pretty good, section 123, row 35, seats 7&8.
EDIT: They also come with a parking pass at Right Field Garage, near CHASE stadium!

I can't make it to the game, I couldn't find anyone to go with me, and by yourself, it would be boring, haha.

These are absolutely free, and the only prequisite is that you meet me at the QT gas station at 43rd and Union Hills.

Sorry, another prerequisite, you must have at least 100 posts.
Sorry, but I want to make sure you will show up at QT...

The First person to post, with 100+ posts, that they want these tickets gets them.

The game starts at 6:40 p.m., so you may miss some of it, but they were free, so what the heck. :o
I tried up till now to try and get someone to go, haha.

If admins feel this is not a valid post, and that it is against the rules, feel free to delete it.

Thanks for all the great responses!
From all the great feedback the AICS has got from all of you, i'm not sure I could go another way. :)

Thanks!

Yeah, i'm definetly down for making myself a ghillie suit. Should be a fun project.
I'm equally stoked for just playing the role of sniper.
Also, basically the patience involved is what was most appealing to me.
Sure, I find it fun to go with a squad and assault and that jazz, but sitting, waiting, watching, that was just so appealing to me.
No sarcasm intended, even though it did sound corny.

That sounds pretty impressive for the gun alamaan, but I might have to go with Vince and be a little skeptical.
It seems almost too good to be true, but would indeed be very awesome.

Firehead's description seems a little more accurate though, and it gives me a ton more hype on wanting to get this gun.

Thanks for the help so far, everyone!

Wow, that's some serious power.

For a Tanaka M700 AICS that shoots accurate(meaning can hit a human body) for about 230-250', how much cash do you think I would be looking at?
I didn't include FPS limitations, because the PCS bolt should allow for lowering the velocity to wherever I need it.
Just need a look-see at what I might expect to pay for an accuract rifle such as that.

Thanks for all the info so far.

Ah, ok, gotcha.

So basically both Gas and Spring would need a little more money dropped into them to get them to peak performance?

What are your stats on the M40a1? Does it shoot to hot for AA?
If not, what kind of groupings do you get at 50', 100', ect, if you have them. :)

A stock Tanaka m700 though, would that be allright to start with?
I just need a reliable sniper rifle, with upgrade compatability, to start me off with until I could get cash to upgrade it.

I'm aware of that, Vince, did the wording of my sentences make it seem that I didn't?
Sorry if it did, thanks for the input though.

Busta, what type of upgrades would I be looking at?
From most reviews that i've read, most stock tanaka rifles shoot pretty hot.
At, or around ~375 at least, for what most people have said.
I'm not looking at getting 600+ fps, more than likely around 500 max.
So I believe i'd be looking at a stock Tanaka rifle, using green gas, and possibly reinforced valves or something to shoot at ~450 I suppose.
Putting a grand into a gun would have it just about into maim'ing mode, wouldn't it?    ;)

Thanks for the help so far,

I'm looking into playing the Sniper position starting up here soon, and was wondering what weapon choice would be ideal?

I've read up on the M700, and it seems to be a pretty well rounded gun.
The PCS bolt was a plus, as it might allow me to dial down fps limits for some games.

What are your folks' opinion on the M700, or any other sniper rifles that I should take into consideration?
I'll be looking into any suggestions/different rifles you all suggest.
Also, spring choices are fine too.
From some people that i've talked to though, spring rifles seem to need to have a few hundred dollars dropped into them to make them shoot at a good fps.
Also, the bolt cycling on a gas just seems to me that it would be much easier than on a spring.

Who knows, maybe i'm just naive!

Any help is welcome!
Thanks!

Yeah, I think I am going to go with the TM M9 Tactical.
You have all brought up great advice though.

My mind was almost switched with all the praise the KJW M9's were getting. :)

However, I got a few buds that have the KJW M9's, FMV, and they are fun to handle, but I think i'll be adventurous and try something new.

Thanks!

-Tool

Poland, about the mag, sorry but I won't be buying it.
Later today though, I'll post again and see if a bud of mine is willing to buy it.
He has the KJW M9 FMV, and he might be interested, would the terms still be the same?

I can't guarantee anything though.

Sorry, but why can't you discuss the pictures in the other post you made?
Seems like a waste of bandwidth to me.

However, just for the sake of not making a totally off-topic post, therefore incuring the wrath of a moderator, I shall make a reply relevent to this thread.

Your KJW M9 looks great, have you made any upgrades to it?
Metal slides, barrels, HF valves? All that good stuff.

Arabic, Indian, Chinese, Japanese? Does it matter?
This is America, Land of the Free.

You act like this is a place only for native born, caucasian white folk.
News flash, it's not.  :?

The sooner you get out of your head that all Arabic deriving people are terrorists, the sooner we will all be better off.

Ok, i've read quite a few reviews on this one, and I think i'm going to go ahead and try it out.
It seems that all I will need to do is put some metal parts on it, get a stronger recoil spring, and maybe a hf valve.

I'd be interested in that extra mag, Poland.
I'll order the gun probably today sometime. Would you mind hanging on to that mag for another week or so?
If you are willing to, we could meet up and set up a buy perhaps.
Where are you located? I'm in Phoenix, so if you are close enough to the JT at 35th and Northern, maybe we could meet up there.
If you are closer to the Scottsdale JT though, i'm sure we could find a place in the middle.
I'd rather not have to drive all the way to Scottsdale, a 30 minute drive there, a 30 minute drive back, gas prices, ya know?  :P

I'm sure we could figure something out though.

If you are willing to hold onto it for a little, how much would you be willing to let it go for?
I'm assuming it is in relatively good condition? (i.e. no leaks, major damage, broken pieces, ect.)

Thanks
-Tool

Thanks for your input as well, Cheeze. :)
