well,we had 10 today which made for some good scenarios. My favorite was the 2nd game.we had to defend are base from being blown up...shoot some ballons and make 'em pop.Last game was capture the flag.Hav Hav and myself teamed up in a flank attempt, which resulted in us hunting Azsarge for so long that we did'nt know when the game ended...oh well!It was a nice day,but it got hot alot quicker than last weekend.MadSarge, thanks for coming out,new players are appreciated.Take it sleazy all,see ya next battle![:D]

I knew that was a trap. Thats why I wasn't advancing! I didn't see the slap of the glove. But I'm sure thats not violating the ROE. I liked when he said 'I cant move, He has my gun!'

Yeah the game was fun as always.  You guys are hella difficult to control sometimes [:(!] but it was still fun.  All things considered I did not get shot at or shoot at anyone the whole game, [:(]  I guess I must have done my job well or something.  Even that last game, I figured it would be a blood bath, but then I got caught up in the goose chase flanking manuvers and before I knew it, Game Over.

I think in the future we need to make it so that people with objecttive objects like flags & ballons in hand can only walk, and not run.  This will force their team mates to surround and escort them. Which is what I was hopeing for in the first place. But since I was not there to see it I don't know what happened.

I thought the first game was pretty good. I figured the rebel forces would start to move up when I said there was a Helicopter incoming. I guess not though.

We got started a little late again. Which is part of what took so long to set up. Azsarge when is your birthday?  I'm going to buy you a clock with a really loud alarm!

On another note, I liked my new tac vest. It needs some adjusting still. But it worked pretty good. I found out why my hip was so sore in the first game. The air went out of my air matress last night and I was basically sleeping with my hip holding my weight for the night. Duh no wonder. I could have swore something bit me.

So what is everyones thoughts on next weekend? Sasco or BT or what? From what I've heard BT is nicer, and sounds more appealing to me.

I think the more complicated the scenarios are the less fun it is,unless its really planned out good. Personally at BT I liked the downed pilot game that was my fav. It was pretty simple for both teams except the SF team had a lil more stuff to do. Having simple games are also a lot easyer to set up. But for the nextgame I think we should park in the spot that we want to play in. I liked the spot we play at when the people from cali were there, that ones a lot nicer and more green than the others. But for the next BT game I think we should try out some new simple scenarios not more than 2 objectives for both teams.  Good playing with you guys tho [:)]  What spot is your fav to play at ?

I'd be up for a game next weekend. I'll bring some food too! I agree with CAG. THe more complicated games are less fun. My favorite game was the last one, where me and Shifty tried to flank the enemy, while at the same time hunt Christian. When we first saw him, we both started snickering, assuming we would kill him. Unfortunatly, my magazine was empty and I didn't know it, and his gun wasnt working. Oh well! Sad to hear Shifty. I hope you fix it. Take it to the Command Post in Tempe. Ask for Haji. Christian says he can fix anything if you tell them you got it there.

My son had a wonderful time! It was his first airsofting venture, and he loved it.

I had a good time sniping. I am pleased with both my ghille suit and the rifle. I need to spend more time with the rifle to get used to where it's the most accurate. Even though I shot several of you (Cag D Boy was my favorite target! LOL), I missed more than I made, so some serious range time is in order for me. I thought the scenarios went off pretty well. The simpler ones went better for our younger players who need to work on patience more than anything.

The most fun I had was the 3rd game with capture the flag, because thats where I got most of my action.  Ill have to show you guys why Im called -MAD- SARGE.  If its any indication, I'm only using a pistol so far. I kind of showed my colors in the last game.

I feel that I like all the senerios. To me its very cool to have several objectives, its not difficult to understand them, you just have to listen during the Briefing.  If were going to play as an effective team we need more structure like a small chain of command.  Granted everyone on the team must agree that the ones calling the shots are best qualified due to experience and overall success of missions with low casualties. Otherwise they might not feel that they need to follow "unfounded" orders.  For myslef I had the most fun when I was able to call my own shots for myself, since our team organization fell through on the last game.

I know that everyone likes to talk, but I want to get playing as soon as possible.  45 mins between games is too long, especially as we know its just going to get hotter on in the day.  I feel that we can play 1 game with a 10 min cool down time, or 2 games with a 20 min cool down time. This would make sure we can get more games in the day and have more stories to share at the end of the day.  If I'm going to plan a half or whole day to do AA I want to get in more games than 3 15min games. Sorry if It sounds like Im complaining, but thats how I feel and maybe others as well.

Screwloose in the last game this is what I know went down.  I flanked to the rear in less than 5 mins.  I approached the Last 50 yards to the "Flag Tree" on radio silence and with as much stealth as the terrain allowed.  I got 15 ft. from Pancho and Villa who where in the tree behind the Flag. I had to charge them when Pancho was starting to get up to change his position. I captured them and tried to report that capture to my teammates. I was so out of breath, Im not in the shape as I used to be lol.  So my team had a hard time reading my report and then CAG D Boy shot me from the same direction where I had been previously 3 mins ago.  He felt so bad that He just rushed the flag and ran like hell to the objective.   That was a pretty fast game compared to the others.

Overall I had fun and I would love to come out again.  This weekend for me is no good Ill be out of town :(  Otherwise Id be there no question!  Boondock Thanks for the free BB's I had intended to pay you for them.

And thanks for letting me borrow a radio Pancho, i ran out of my house so fast that I had forgot mine! LoL

yea I agree about us talking the whole time, but for some reason that game was the worst. I was talking to kyle a lot cus I havent seen him in a bit haha. And also it took us a long time to get another game going is because we had to move from where we parked. Usaly we get 4 or 5 games in.

Yeah I agree with most everything people have said. I wish we could get moving and talk while we play. Usually there are plenty of down times while walking and stalking to do some little chit chat.

As for locations, I was trying to find the area we were at the last game, I guess we just went around it, and since I was not driving I did not want to drag us around in a bunch of circles looking for it, Oh well. Although I like a change of game areas, because inevitably when playing in the same spots people tend to hide where they did the last time. Just like in video games every so often you got to play a different map or it gets boreing.

As for multiple objective games, it would work out better if people would plan out their gear and needs ahead of time. Breaks drug on and on because inevitably someone would remember they needed something else from the cars. How can someone not remember water in the middle of the desert when its this hot out? I always double check my gear and rations the night before a game, load my mags and such. Gasing mags takes much less time than filling every mag you got with BB's. Those of you who inevitably show up unprepared and or with empty mags are doing an injustice to those of us who came prepared to do buisness.  So please think about the rest of us and do your part to help your group and the game organizers to get started on time.

Another thing that I now know is not really a fault of the "game master" if you will, is the before game briefings. During the middle game I gave 1 major briefing to both teams together, then I gave a smaller personal briefing to both teams indivigually. I let everyone know what I expected from them. . Except for the few people that dissappeard during the briefing after our 45 min break for whatever reason? Anyways one of the teams did a good job of sticking to the game plan for the most part. The other team totally did not listen. Not 2 seconds after I was done setting the Rules of engagment, someone starts shooting at a "Civilian". From there nothing went right. In this game the "Ranger" sqaud was supposed to make first contact and then call in the "Spec Forces" to help finish the job. Ranger team never left the staging area, to busy arguing about how to continue. The Spec forces team, who was not supposed to be involved yet, suddenly took control of the civilian informant and rustled him for information in good CIA style. From there I just let it go. In the end the game was interesting and fun. But did not turn out as planned, as I know they seldom do.

The part I don't quite understand is why people don't listen to the preop briefings? I believe the reason we do Airsoft instead of paint ball is for realism. Well in a real op you have goals and ROE's, which you must follow. So why is this aspect so difficult for people to adhear to? I don't understand.

Oh and HavHav and shifty, had you guys tried to move on Azsarge you would have had a nasty suprise [:D] I had you right in my sights. I was just waiting til you moved out of the brush.

P.S. sorry for the length and lack of spell checking. But I felt it needed to be said.

Oh and -Mad-Sarge The games were quite a bit longer than 15 min. And it was not an official Arizona Airsoft game. Just FYI.

Maybe they were longer than 15 mins, I didnt have a watch on me.  I was just going by my internal clock, and when in a warfare environment 15 mins seems like a very long time.  I dont want to give out wrong info sorry about that.  And I should of used airsoft instead of AA cause thats what I meant. Sorry for the confusion.
