This is going to be an innovative new type of milsim with never before seen play style and rule set.  Several new concepts are going to be implemented in this milsim including:

POINTS SYSTEM:  Each mission has a set of objectives for each faction that has a point value attached to it.  Some objectives are universal to every mission, others are unique.  The faction that holds the most points has huge advantages in each mission.  This will add a huge element of strategy and competitiveness.

CHAIN OF COMMAND:  Because of the unique and dynamic nature of the missions in this milsim, someone has to call the shots.  Chain of command helps break players up into smaller groups making it easier to direct the action, and complete the mission.

WILD CARD FACTION:  The PMC faction in this milsim is a wild card.  A faction can sacrifice points to hire them, or they can earn points with their own sinister objectives.  The friend of your friend is your enemy, or are they?

BACK STORY
TIME LINE

September 15th, 2015. The small island nation of Oro’s newly elected president leads an inquisition in to the corruption of his military leadership. As a result several of Oro’s high ranking military leaders are charged with treason and put in prison.

September 25th, 2015. Many of Oro’s detained military leaders make claims that warn the public that the president wishes to turn Oro into a dictatorship, and their detainment is to prevent them from intervening. There is civil unrest throughout the nation.

October 13th, 2015. A charismatic general in the Oro army leads un uprising of troops loyal to his cause. The Oro Liberation Army is born. The OLA, raids the prisons holding their detained comrades. Oro falls into civil war.

October 16th, 2015. With only a small amount of Oro’s military still loyal to the government, The president of Oro asks the United Nations for help, claiming the OLA is waging a brutal and unprovoked war, and they intend to install a communist government in Oro.

October 21st, 2015. The president of Oro, fearing that the United Nations will not send forces in time, Hires the American Private Military Corporation, Renegade Security Solutions, to serve as his personal guard and to bolster his failing military.

October 26th, 2015. Renegade Security Solutions arrives in Oro.

October 31st, 2015. The United Nations comes to a decision to send multinational peace keeping forces to Oro.

November 5th, 2015. A UN task force is formed lead by the United States Army 82nd Airborne, Task force “Gold Rush.” They prepare for mobilization.

November 7th, 2015. Fearing a cease and desist order will be issued when the UN taskforce arrives. Renegade Security Solutions appeals to be a sanctioned United Nations force in Oro. With a past history of questionable tactics and activities, the United Nations is reluctant. With no ground forces currently in Oro, and the situation at a boiling point, The United Nations approves the use of Renegade PMC in Oro.

November 8th, 2015. The OLA have Oro’s capital city, Casa Del Oro, under siege. The remaining Oro Army and Renegade PMC dig in for what looks to be a long fight.

November 12th, 2015. The siege of Casa Del Oro continues. A United States Carrier group arrives off the coast of Oro. F/A-18 fighters streak through the sky, conducting tactical bombing of enemy position’s.

November 14th, 2015. Under intense bombing from the United States Navy, the OLA decide to make an attempt on the city. They overrun the city’s defenses and with the risk of collateral damage the Navy is unable to bomb the city. The last of the Oro army is pushed back to the presidential villa where the remaining Renegade PMC guard the president. The 82nd Airborne arrives and takes the Oro International airport.

November 15th, 2015, (MISSION 1) The Renegade PMC low on ammunition and exhausted from a firefight lasting all night,  prepare to make there final stand.  The OLA, desperate to execute the president of Oro before the UN arrives makes a violent push at the villa, as the 82nd airborne rushes towards the villa to evacuate the president.

November 18th, 2015, The 82nd airborne takes control of Casa Del Oro.  They set up a headquarters at the United States Embassy.  Renegade Security Solutions sets up a small outpost in the outskirts of the city.

November 21st, 2015, The mayor of a small town outside of Casa Del Oro begs the United Nations for assistance.  The towns supply of food and water is desperately short, and many of its residents and refugees have fallen ill or injured and require medical supplies.

November 23rd, 2015, (MISSION 2) The UN requests the 82nd Airborne run a supply convoy to the town.  The town is located through a dangerous stretch of OLA held jungle.  Because the OLA is in possession of a large number of shoulder fired anti-aircraft missiles air transport is deemed too dangerous by UN advisers.

November 27th, 2015, China openly opposes the UN decision to send troops to Oro.  They claim the now deemed “Gold War” a peoples revolution and a just cause.  They pledge non-combat support to the OLA.

December 1st, 2015, China, acting as an intermediary for the OLA, make claims to the UN of heavy civilian casualties due to US Navy bombing.  The United States Military firmly denies these claims.

December 2nd, 2015, The UN orders the cessation of aerial bombing until an investigation can be launched..

December 4th, 2015, (MISSION 3) The OLA, bolstered by aerial bombing restrictions, launches an all out assault on Casa Del Oro.  The 82nd digs in to hold the city.

December 8th, 2015, The UN investigation concludes that the civilian casualties were a result of OLA bombings, not UN aerial bombings.  There is a worldwide outrage, China claims the UN findings were doctored to further vilify the OLA and their cause.

December 12th, 2015, (MISSION 4) A UN aid pilot, transporting supplies to cities around the island is shot down behind enemy lines.  The 82nd Airborne rushes to save the pilot.  The OLA claims the pilot was flying a military spy plane, and wishes to bring him to justice.

December 20th, 2015, (MISSION 5) A Chinese cargo plane is picked up on radar flying over a section of OLA held jungle.  UN recon confirms several crates are airdropped over the area.  They are believed to contain parts for Chinese anti-aircraft sites.  The 82nd deploys forces to intercept the cargo.

FACTIONS

United States Army 82nd Airborne - UN Task Force Gold Rush

53 players
ROLE: United States Army Ranger Regiment. Sent into Oro as the spearhead of taskforce “Gold Rush.”
UNIFORM (Preferred): ACU, Woodland, tiger stripe, ABU, MARPAT
INSIGNIA ITEMS (Provided): Blue 82ND armband with rank, Blue Glow stick (for night time team identification)
WEAPONS (Preferred): M16, M4, M14, G36, M249
MEDIC SYSTEM: Each 82nd Airborne squad has a Medic who can revive 10 teammates per mission, Every US Army soldier is combat life saver certified so each 82nd solider carries one CLS revive.

WHY BE 82ND IN THE SIM?

Well, what’s not cool about being an Army Ranger? There are many good things about being on the 82nd team. First is they have arguably the best starting location (Depending on your play style.) They hold Oro’s capital city, Casa de Oro (The town area in Fightertown's field.) Most of your missions consist of doing things a UN peace keeping force would do, deliver food and aid supplies, defend convoys, rescue hostages, exc. Your primary enemy in Oro is the Oro Liberation Army or OLA, Their base is somewhere in the jungle (the back field area of Fightertown.) Being as everyone is able to revive one teammate per mission with the CLS skills all army soldiers have, plus a medic who can revive 20 teammates per mission, getting back into the game is a breeze! While the private military corporation, Renegade Security Solutions, are technically “UN sanctioned” and SHOULD be doing the same mission as the 82nd, they are mercenaries after all. While they may be a helpful hand on a mission, it may pay to keep an eye on them incase they do some naughty things to make some extra money.

OLA Rebels - Oro Liberation Army
53 players
ROLE: Revolutionary Army bent on overthrowing Oro’s current president.
UNIFORM (Preferred): 3 color desert, 5 color desert, USMC desert digital, Civilian clothes
INSIGNIA ITEMS (Provided): Red OLA armband with rank, Red Glow stick (for night time team identification)
WEAPONS (Preferred): AK47, AK74, G3, RPK, SVD
MEDIC SYSTEM: Each OLA squad has a medic who can carry 10 revives at a time, But can refill their revives at the OLA camp. Please note that OLA medics can only posses 10 revives at a time.

WHY BE OLA IN THE SIM?

The OLA are just your average, run of the mil, heavily armed revolutionary army! One of the cool things about the OLA is you have the whole jungle (back field area of Fightertown) to hide in. Unlike the other two factions the OLA can move their highly mobile base (consists of a few tents) whenever they like. So the 82nd and Renegade PMC never quite know where your gonna pop up! The OLA are a brutal, ruthless, gorilla army. Meaning if you like to ambush UN convoys to steal s**t your probably gonna use against them later the OLA is the team for you.  Most of your missions will consist of things you would generally expect a gorilla army to do. Renegade PMC was hired by the pesky president of Oro, and they are sanctioned by the even more pesky UN, so they aren’t technically your friends, but with a little monetary motivation they might just see exactly how noble your cause is after all.

Renegade Security Solutions - Private Military Corporation
23 players
ROLE: Private Military Corporation hired by Oro’s president, Sanctioned by the UN as part of the peace keeping forces, but secretly plans to exploit the situation in Oro for monetary gain.
UNIFORM (Preferred): Multicam, Flat tan, Flat green
INSIGNIA ITEMS (Provided): Green Renegade PMC arm band with rank, Green Glow stick (for night time team identification)
WEAPONS: Any
MEDIC SYSTEM: Renegade PMC does not have a medic class. Each Renegade Operator has basic Combat Life saving skills and possess 1 revive that can be used on any teammate.

WHY BE RENEGADE PMC IN THE SIM?

The Renegade PMC is unlike any other faction you have played on in a milsim. If any of you have played one of my traitor games you know I like a little bit of a monkey wrench, and a bit of role playing thrown into my airsoft games. That’s exactly what the Renegade team is going to be, the monkey wrench. The interesting thing about the renegade team is unless you are hired by one of the other two teams, your motives are pretty much unclear to the other teams. You might ask yourself “a team that no sometimes one knows who they are playing for? How do we know if we should shoot them or if they will shoot us?“ Well, this is a true, deadly true fact that soldiers in combat face every day. In war, the line between friend and enemy is thin. They might be helping you, they might not, you have to gauge the situation at hand and respond accordingly. They are the smallest team, so it’s a team for skilled players. You can make your missions on the fly for whatever yields the best profit. Aside from hiring bonuses, Renegade point earning objectives are always secret from the other teams. The thing is you have to be smart, you may want to put up a front like you are doing something helpful for the other team so they don’t shoot you, though, they might anyway.
