AEG's / Wires
« on: November 07, 2002, 08:50:51 PM »
While modding my M4 to take a V battery, I noticed that the wires are not 100% copper. Would there be any significant increase in performance or advantage to replaceing these such as more battery life better motor efficiency?

Accessories & Gear / Tac Vests
« on: October 28, 2002, 09:38:18 PM »
I am debating between the Eagle TAC-V1-N-B Vest ( http://www.lightfighter.com/item.html?PRID=850338 ) or the Omega Tactical Crossdraw Vest ( http://www.lightfighter.com/item.html?PRID=855742 ) for my birthday or Christmas. Does anyone have any opinions or suggestions on which to get?

Has anyone had experience with Airsoft Club's used guns? I know their <i>used</i>, but a 138$ AK47 is almost too hard to pass up ( http://www.airsoftclub.com/cart/cart.cg ... 8&action=e )

AEG's / Feeding problems?
« on: October 09, 2002, 08:28:28 PM »
Last week my friend's ICS MP5 decided it wasn't going to shoot. I volunteered to take a look. When you hook a battery up and pull the trigger, it makes the regular sound, which lead me to believe it is either the tappet plate or the nozzle. Tonight, I figured out it was neither. After seperating the upper and lower recievers, I found out that the gearbox functions propery. Which means it is a feeding problem. No obstructions of any sort in that feeding 'tube' on the upper reciever. I haven't taken the whole upper reciever apart yet, and I am hesitant to. Any suggestions? Oh, and it isn't the magazine either, because we have tried 3 different magazines, all of which work on my other friend's MP5.

AEG's / Custom Batteries
« on: September 12, 2002, 10:06:44 PM »
I am getting tired of my wimpy mini battery for my Mauri M4. The betteries that the CA M4's use('Nunchuck" shaped?), would that fit with out any modifcation of the fuse? I know the V-shaped battery would take some modification, would all I have to do is take out that plastic barrier that seperates the upper and lower halves of the foregrip?

Thanks,
Mike
