I just had a few questions concerning a high fps build, and would really like some input.
My goal is to have a 450-500 fps Semi Auto with instant trigger responce
and the ability to take accurate long distance shots.
The base gun is a dboy Spr Mk12 Mod 0

Prommy 6.03 520mm or 590mm (I heard anything after 500mm really doesnt make much of a diffence)
High torque gear set of some sort (need advice)

New nub (need advice)
Magic box bucking or fire fly hard
Magic box Air nozzle

What kind of wireing would you guys reccomend to rewire the gearbox/gun?
What battery would you reccomend? (never owned a lipo/kind of prefer the simplicity of nimh/nicad)
What else would you reccomend for trigger responce?
How much would I benefit from installing a Mosfet?
and last but not least What bb's would you reccomend? I would like to stay away from madbull

Hello guys I have a few questions regarding my Tanaka m700 A.I.C.S. I was lucky enough to get a Pre-ban version used off Airsoftretreat.com a few years back and ironically I quit airsoft before even fielding the gun. I did however shoot it in the back yard quite a bit. I wasn't very happy with my results my accuracy was pretty bad at about 100 feet. (all over a 8x11 sheet of paper and I was prone using a bipod using tsunami .3 bb's) I know this is partially due to the fact that the rifle is gas (and gas fluctuates) but I recently got back into the sport and would like to make this my main shooter.
so that being said, what would could I do to get the most out of my rifle. My field limits are 550fps with .2's so i'm not really looking for power upgrades, if anything I would like to be shooting around 500 max. I would like to get it as consistent as possible.
I've heard things in the past about hpa rigs for constant power but I would rather stray away from that. If anyone has a link on how to make one please post, im still interested lol.

-A vsr tightbore.
what brand do you prefer?
what diameter?
what length would you guys recommend? (would like to stick close to stock)
i've heard good and bad things about 6.01 tightbores and i'm not trying to spend close to $200 for a pdi one i've got a laylax 6.03 in the mail for my vsr I will see how I like that
and also someone recommended the use of a psg-1 tb to someone on another forum. I thought vsr's use their own type of barrel can someone please clear this up.
