I may be bringing +2 But one needs a gun if anyone has anything extra he can use. They'll probably be both for green

I can bring some short m4's. Does he have anything to carry mags?
I've got a vest and bb's for him.

I should be there for either tan or green. I don't know but I have Choco chip BDU's with an OD vest. Unless I can manage to get some woodland stuff or a new vest I'm not sure if I can play or not.

Accessories & Gear / Re: battery troubles

I'd say its time for a new battery.
Like ruberup I would say either the battery was charged too long too many times or it was just used so much that it has been worn out and you need a new battery.

it helps taking breaks

Is it a jg btw?
I got it back together and realized that it was that I just needed to take a break after spending forever shimming my gears and adjusting the AoE. I think most people should know that they should take a break, even 5 minutes would help, before putting the spring in. It really helps relax and brings your frustration down before the most stressful part. Also, it is a JG but everything but the cylinder, gears, and motor have been replaced since it only has a couple thousand rounds and the motor isn't that bad, it can pull my M120 without a problem going about 15rps with mostly SHS/Matrix parts.

AEG's / Reassembling gearboxes

Hello again,
I've been trying to close the gearbox I've been working on after getting my last couple parts today. I get everything together and when the spring is compressed it is insanely hard to close the gearbox. I know it's normally hard but nothing will stay put in the gearbox so I can't get it closed. Either the spring flies out the back or the gears fly out of the bearings despite trying to hold everything together it's just too hard to do while putting the top on. I don't have the money to have a tech do it and want to do it myself. If somebody knows why this is please help me figure out how to get the top on. Me and my dad tried to do it and that did not work either. Just so everyone knows, it's a version 3 GB for a g36.

I might be there for tan. I only have an ACU and OD green vest.  Should I just wear the ACU vest?

I'll PM you for more info on your style r-hop because it sounds like I might go with that because it sounds better than a normal r-hop.

Thanks for the input guys. I do have a modify ribbed bucking and I'm building a field setup. It looks like I can get a few r-hops, and put them in my gun and have some extra. I do have a question about R-hop inserts though. I couldn't find any data other than, "Wow, makes my gun shoot farther and more accurate!" and comments like that. Does it really increase range and accuracy that much? Nobody actually says how much further or accurate it makes them and it doesn't even give an estimate. I don't want anything like exact numbers but is it around 20' of extra range or something like 30'-40' extra? My gun does use an M120 spring with a 6.03mm, 300mm barrel and I'm using .25g bb's so I think the r-hop will work in it.
Also spazz, does command post sell R-hops by any chance?

Alright thanks. When I have a chance to get down there I'll ask him since I need some other items too.

Hello AA,
I have a question for you today. Is there a "proper" way to choose the most optimal hop-up bucking for an airsoft rifle? I couldn't find a guide or even an answer to my question here or anywhere else on the internet. Is it just a preference or should you base it off fps, barrel length, and other variables?
Thanks,

Real Firearms / Re: gunfire, in space?
« on: November 30, 2013, 11:30:36 PM »
I do believe the H&K G11 with its caseless ammo
I forgot to mention that since there is no gravity or pressure in space it is possible that a semi-automatic or full-auto gun would possibly have problems chambering a second round because the bolt would have problems moving the case all the way out of the chamber before closing again. another reason why G11 would be good for outer space.
