Sorry to hear that CADD, that totally sucks.  You should have taken a fall down the stairs on the way out, (you didn't see me write that).  What line of work did you do for them, maybe you can find something by networking on the forums?

You could always get some revenge. I hope you can find work soon. (I know you can)
But like Harley said, you should have fallen down the stairs on the way out.

our division was most profitable .. they just dont want to do it anymore so 3 days before xmas they can everyone and with no severance pay - period

I edited the posts for obvious reasons.  The fact that they are Catholic, Black, Orange, Midgets, Jewish, Fat, Women, or NFL Team owners shouldn't matter.  

That being said, I feel for you.  It sucks, but if you're going to lose a job, you're in the perfect time to get a new one.  The economy is turning around; come January 1st, department budgets are renewed and everyone's looking to hire after the 1st of the year.  You should be able to line up quite a few interviews.

my company owned by two [edit] lawyers closed the doors to my company today Dec. 22nd.


yeah go ahead and flame me for the refernce but the fact is they are and they did.  


Oh yeah and they gave us 5 days severence. grrrr.
