Just to make sure. It will be in the store and will it be anywhere else?

It may spill outside... It all depends on how many people show up.  The parking lot is empty on Sundays, so there will be room.

32
Is bringing things to sell required?

No, you can come to browse through other people's stuff.

Over a year has passed since we've done a swapmeet and it is time to correct that.

Join us once again at Gearbox Airsoft for the infamous C.A.T.A.S.S. (Combat, Airsoft, Tactical, And Surplus Sale) extravaganza! As always, quite a few of us here are looking to unload old gear, guns, etc. at rock bottom prices, so come get some good deals and unload your stuff on someone else!

There may be some counter space to use, but if you're planning on bringing multiple items then bring your own tables or something to put them on. Also, please keep track of the items you bring, as I'm sure there will be some similarities and we don't want things getting mixed up. Please RSVP in this thread if you plan on bringing items to sell.

Gearbox Airsoft will be selling a considerable amount of parts and accessories as well as used and broken AEGs and spring guns (Boneyard items) at very low prices.

Post in this thread if you have any other questions.

ADMISSION IS FREE!

That is pretty slick.

Where do you prefer to meet up?

I can meet at Gearbox Airsoft, but can travel in Tempe, Mesa, etc.  If you're real far, I'd say it'd be cheaper to ship.

I'm still confused about how anything passing in commiefornia means that "we are going to see repercussions of this here".

It is a very different place here than it is there, with a very different legislature with very different goals and priorities.

Look up "CARB" - California Air Resource Board.

General Off-Topic Discussion / 2008 M1165A1 HMMWV For Sale

2008 Fully Armored Military HMMWV. as NEW, shows 858 Miles. Data plate reads, Truck, Utility : Interim Armored, Command and Control / General PRP Veh , 4 X 4  ( M1165A1 W/B3 ) DOD 11/08

This HMMWV was purchased new by a Military contractor to display and test product, the electronic demo equipment seen in the photos will be removed with no physical or operational impact to the vehicle. The Model M1165A1 HMMWV includes Dual AIR CONDITIONING units, Fire suppression system, underbody armor , rocker armor , lower windscreen deflector armor and energy absorbing ( A2 ) seats as standard. With the B3 option, the vehicle adds perimeter armor, overhead armor, a rear ballistic bulkhead, optional side and door perimeter protection, front cowl and wheel well protection and a single movement combat lock ( SMCL ) . The weight with all this protection climbs to 12,100 pounds. It maintains the 6.5L V8 turbocharged diesel with 190-HP and a Max speed of 70 mph. This is a very nice ( As  NEW ) and very rare Vehicle as I am not aware of any others in civilian ownership.

An excellent buy at $154,000.00
Location : Va. Beach, Virginia.

I would suspect this is the only one out there like this in that it was probably not ever owned by the government and so there should not be that specter of "they might decide to take it back" that exists with most privately owned military vehicles.

With all that armor, it weighs almost as much as my deuce and half does.

Somebody here should buy it, its only $154,000.00.  Knowing our government, thats probably half price!

Is there really anyone out there that doesn't just get all/both?  I buy games that I know are going to be kind of stupid, but still somehow want to play.  I even play through the dumb ones for some reason.

And your stack of games you have played through yet is HOW deep now?  :p

11.  I'm catching up.

These are the 16"/50 caliber Mark 7 rifles off of Iowa Class Battleships.  237,175 lbs each!  3.6 million pounds of probably some of the best steel ever made.

You can click on the photos for a closer view.  Anyways, I found it interesting.

Real Firearms / Re: 20 gauge birdshot vs. buckshot

Advice is exactly what I was seeking, and comming from someone with as much experience as yourself, would be welcomed. I live in a two story house, with many dogs and people living in it. The only problem I have with buckshot is the resulting penetration that could possibly hurt someone besides who the shot is intended for.

This is an issue with any firearm and to attempt to deal with it as an equipment issue rather than a training issue is folly.
