TM Hi Capa 5.1
« on: November 28, 2010, 08:45:18 PM »
Hey all, I'm pretty new here and just had a few questions.

First up, why am I even asking?  Well, I need a good sidearm, and a gun to play at Vanguard with.

Please note, I have done some research on this gun, and have concluded it is probably pretty reliable, and doing aftermarket upgrades wouldn't be too tough for me since I modify all of my own guitars and have repaired my BB guns in the past.

What I would like to know is:
-How is the extended 50 round magazine, does it work well if I wanted to use it for CQB?
-Would it be smarter to just buy the regular magazines?
-What kind of pouch fits the extended magazines?
-Is there an aftermarket tight bore?  Would it even be necessary?
-Are there any parts that need to be upgraded right out of the box?  Such as the slide?  Or shall I just leave them until they break.
-What kind of mask should I buy?  I really have no idea.

Thanks!

1. It depends if you want to keep reloading or just keep one mag in for a while. I would love using 50 round magazines.
2. I don't know prices but you would have to buy more magazines to get the amount of rounds with the 50 round magazines.
3. I think an smg pouch might fit the 50 round magazines.
4. There is aftermarket tightbores it would improve groupings, but for cqb it is not really needed, but after a couple games if you really think you need it you could just get it.
5. It depends on what your budget is, I personally don't own the gun so I don't know exactly but if it performs like you want then keep it that way. If not then change some things around.
6. You would probably want a full face mask. A paintball one will work well because it won't bend that much.

Hope this helps!
