I know it's a bit late, but I still don't know what's up with all you youngsters wanting to play with such high FPS limits.  400fps is fine for outdoors, but even the largest CQC fields in Cali have limits down near 350fps.  Also, muzzle velocity =/= range and accuracy.  My outdoor gun only shoots around 350 w/ .20g bbs and I still get some ridiculous range and accuracy out of it.  As I don't want to kick this particular dead horse again and derail this thread any further, I will leave it at that, but take some of this as food for thought.

DarrK, if you get a mall (or any other real-world building) I will be there, plus at least 5.  You can count on it.

I agree, if the game were indoors the fps cap should be around 350-375.

It's not really that we want high fps. For me at least, I have one AEG that is shooting 400fps right on the dot, and I don't want to spend money downgrading the spring or buying another gun. Most large maps that have buildings require semi auto in the building, that's why I suggested semi-auto only for a mall game.

If this game does happen, it will probably be far enough in the future that I'll most likely buy a spring shotgun, because what fun would a zombie game be without a pump shotgun?

Another kick to the dead horse, but if it does happen to be indoor I'd vote for it to be more of a pistol setup. To where if you have a pistol use it over your M4 or other varient. If no pistol, it's okay but it has to shoot as low as a handgun and limit them on mags. Because people with pistols have 30 rounds a mag or less. Like.. 5 Mid caps a person? Where you can carry as many pistol mags as possible but try to keep it realistic.

If this turns into a pistol match (which actually sounds really fun), I'm bringing my riot shield. Sure it won't stop a bullet, but it'll stop a zombie.

I think he was laughing at the CODsofter-esque use of the word "maps" instead of "fields" or "AO's".

Exactly! But it mostly made me laugh because it reminded me of the time my friend was telling a story and refered to the school cafeteria as a map.
