Airsoft Items FOR SALE / WTS: PDW, M9, KWA MP7, misc. Gear
« on: June 18, 2013, 08:30:01 PM »
Hello all,
I have a few items up for sale today. These are all good guns, but I just need the cash. If you would like pictures, please send me a text at 480-458-8418. Here we go:

DBoys PDW: Sweet gun, full metal. I hate to let it go, but I will. Shoots 350 with .25s. Barrel is pretty damn wobbly, but I have fixed it with a rather homemade solution. Looks fine, but is obviously present. The ambi fire selector is missing, but if you are a righty you will be fine. Text me for pictures. Includes a vertical grip, two PDW stlye mid caps, and no battery. 150

WE Desert M9: Good gun, mostly metal. Internals may be dry, but not bone dry. Shoots 300 with .25s (I think) and has a maximum effective range of about 70 feet. Great for CQB, but matches desert colors very well. I don't want this anymore because I want a different brand and one to match my multicam better. Asking 100 for gun with two working, non leaky mags. Only played one game.

KWA MP7: Really don't want to let this thing go, but I never use it, plus I can't afford to buy more mags. Sweet gun, shoots 350 with .2s, which is perfect for Tempe, Vanguard, etc. Max effective range of about 125 or so because it is meant for CQB. The fore grip of this gun is broken off, but I would recommend upgrading to the rail system anyways. There is also a slight crack on the upper left of the right side, but I doesn't affect performance and is only noticeable from a few inches away. Includes two mags (one perfect, one is missing the spring that feeds the BBs(have to order from KWA directly)) and a TMC kydex-like holder that lets you holster it in a low pro fashion. Asking 210.

KJW P226: I don't know anything about this gun. Full metal, good feel. Comes without a mag. Asking 60.

Condor MOPC in tan: Good PC. Isn't the kind or color I was looking for. Comes with a double M4 mag pouch and one plate. Asking 60.

Diamond Tactical PC in tan: Isn't the right carrier. Only the PC is included. Asking 20.

General Airsoft Discussion / What Camo Should I Switch To?
« on: March 31, 2013, 05:50:57 PM »
Hey guys,
So recently, i have been looking over my kit, and i realized how unrealistic it is. So, i was just wondering what i should switch to. I have thought of AOR1, MultiCam, and maybe even A-TACS. I am trying to do a mil-sim type of loadout, so maybe even suggest some impressions to go for. Thanks guys,

Hey guys,
So the final piece of my kit is the battle belt, and i was wondering what the best brand is and what pouches to get. I have seen and heard good things about Condor and BLACKHAWK! stuff, but i was wondering if anyone had testimonies or other brands that they know work well. Thanks guys,

Accessories & Gear / Questions about What to Put On a Helmet
« on: January 26, 2013, 09:45:11 PM »
Hey guys,
So I have been looking at more serious mil-sim stuff lately, and i have come across the topic of headgear. I already have a headset in mind, but i wanted to know what the mounts you need are for a prop night vision set, like this one:
http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=37811
Yes, i know it's fake, but i would prefer that. Also, what other kind of accessories can i put on it? If anyone has any advice, or a helmet with mounts, i love to trade or buy it from you. Thanks guys,
Dust

AEG's / M60VN Problems
« on: January 13, 2013, 03:05:24 PM »
So I recently picked up an A&K M60VN used, and there is some problems with the feeding. I have narrowed it down to being the gun because there is a fracture above the little feeding tube. The gun is also in two parts because for some reason the barrel wasn't connected to the body very well. If you could help me please PM me and tell me what we could do. Thanks guys

Hey guys,
So me and asof elites have started making more and more videos for our teams YouTube channel. We are trying to post vanguard videos, teasers, reviews and tutorials. The current reviews aren't of the best quality, however, we were testing how they would look filmed with a GoPro, so they will be better quality as we progress.
Channel: AirsofTakedown
If you guys could subscribe or anything that would get our channel more views, thank you so much with a capital 7.
Play hard and safe

General Airsoft Discussion / Another Movie, Actors Wanted
« on: August 31, 2012, 09:09:40 PM »
Now before we start criticizing me about "Biting off more than i can chew,"  or "You already have a movie starting," let me just say that that is not shooting soon. The cast still needs their costumes, we need more prep time, and a few other things. So, please don't criticize me, because this one we can start shooting a lot sooner.
This movie is called Comrades. This one doesn't have as interesting of a plot as In the Blood of our Ancestors, but it will be easier to make and easier to find cast for. In fact the final scene takes place right in my backyard. It's a siege scene, and i have a big backyard. Anyways, i tried to make a war movie that is plain, but interesting. Lots of sad parts, funny parts, actiony parts, and bad ass parts.
It is based off my book, which i have posted already, but it will not be word for word because i do need to work and revise. But if you don't feel like looking for half an hour to find it, here's the plot.
The focus is one platoon in the Rangers. They do basic patrols, about two firefights. Until they are assigned a private mission. They need to find the target, kill him, then drive out a few miles and get the hostages out and save them, then drive back to the rendezvous about 100 miles out, but getting there wont be easy. That's the basic outline of it. There are flashbacks, firefights, door kicking in, stupid humor, fistfights, deaths, and more. It will be great fun to shoot, and here are the roles. If you could PM me about it, that would be fantastic, but comment any questions.

Accessories & Gear / Emerson Tactical FAST Helmet
« on: June 07, 2012, 01:14:56 PM »
Hey guys,
So for the review today I thought I'd do it on a fairly new peice of kit I got. It's the Emerson Tactical FAST Helmet Type B. I bought it in tan and I have to say I think it is one of the best peices of equipment I've purchased. Although it is not for the faint of wallet, it is worth buying if you want a good, lightweight helmet.

I have a huge head, and the helmet fits perfectly because there is removable padding EVERYWHERE. It also comes with extra padding just to make sure the customer has the perfect fit. There is a dial on the back, similar to a biking helmet that when you twist it one way, it gets bigger, but the other way it gets smaller. So once again, they had the big picture in mind and it seems like their goal wasn't to make a good helmet, but to make a good helmet that fits the customer.

If I had to guess, I'd say it weighs around 2-2.5 pounds. It has a built in NVG mount, so you can mount a Go-Pro with the proper accessories, or maybe a prop night-vision set. It has rail attachments on the side so you can mount maybe a flashlight if your gun dosent have rails. One of the parts I absolutely love is the fact that there is tons of Velcro all over this thing. Also, keep in mind we are talking about the Type B and not Type A which has less Velcro. My personnel set-up for patches is one regular and one reversed USA patch and one 9/11 patch.

The body is a nice plastic that combines lightweight plastic with the versatility of metal. It fells smooth to the touch and has a dark earth finish to it. Both the A and B come in foliage, black, and dark earth.
Most helmets are heavy and hard to adjust and look bad most of the time. With the Emerson Tactical Helmet, it's very easy to adjust (I got mine done in a few seconds and it was way off when I started) and it looks awesome, especially when you make it your own by putting on patches and a Go-Pro or night vision prop. The ears are open to allow for a headset if you rock a radio in the feild. They also look great with the "Avengers" glasses. The ones pictured below are the rainbow ones. You can still aim down the sight, so no worrys there. It dosent restrict your field of movement I  your neck, mouth (once properly adjusted chinstrap), and dosent block your hearing.

So, in the end, I would truly recommend this as a valuable peice of gear. We all know how much that one hit on the head by a plastic hatred sphere going at 450 feet per second hurts. There is tons of room for customization  and it will make you feel really cool. I also recommend the SDEU vest with this helmet. It looks amazing together. If you have that kind of cash to spend on gear and not on that one certain motor or handgrip, get this helmet. They also look great with the "Avengers" glasses. The ones pictured below are the rainbow ones.

RECCOMENDATIONS:
Sdeu Vest
Avengers Glasses
M3 flashlight
Laser
Go Pro w/ NVG mount
Blinded out patches

Thanks for reading my review guys, and if there's anymore questions, go ahead and PM me.
