« on: March 18, 2011, 08:51:18 PM »
Seeing as there's no topic for Fort Adobe this weekend, I figured I'd make one. Post here if you're going to be there, I know I will be! (possibly with a guest or two)

Games run from 9am to 4pm.

Admission is $20 at the field, or $15 with purchase of bbs at APD.

FPS is nothing full auto over 400 with .20s.

Any questions I'll do my best to answer them. Thanks!

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Echo 1 M4 Great Price!! **SOLD**
« on: March 06, 2011, 04:46:15 PM »
**GUN IS SOLD**

I've decided to sell my Echo 1 M4A1, in order to upgrade and buy something better. This gun is great, functions smoothly, and has served me very well throughout my time with it. Details Below...

History:
Owned it since late May 2010. I am the original owner, always cleaned and taken good care of it. Used in plenty of games, but both the outside and internals are in great condition, especially considering its use.

Internal:
Stock motor and hop up. Gearbox was recently swapped out by APD (current GB is a Classic Army), and I also had an M120 spring installed at that time. Currently chronoed at ~370 FPS with Madbull .25s. Perfect for field play!

External:
All stock, other than a metal rail installed on the bottom hand guard for mounting accessories (which may be removed if desired).

Accessories:
I am selling it in 2 different ways. One is completely stock, no extra parts other than the handguard rail and vertical grip. The other includes a Classic Army 14mm double screw silencer, Madbull Black Python Ver. II 509mm 6.03 TBB (and original 363mm inner barrel as well), and SureFire tac light. Will mix and match included accessories to adjust price to the buyer's capability.

What's included:
With purchase of either the stock or accessory versions, you get the following; one 80rd midcap, all original parts (listed below), original box, battery, and the original 363mm 6.08 inner barrel. If trading for a non M4-type gun (for example, an AUG), I have more mags/batteries/etc. I can throw in.

ASKING PRICE(S)
Stock version: $130
With accessories: $210 (silencer alone was $50)
-Prices are OBO but within reason.

Trades:
Open to pretty much anything, though cash is still king. Will add cash to a deal on my part if trading upwards in value.

Any questions, or to make an offer, please don't hesitate to send me a PM. Thanks for checking out my sale!

Stock M4.

M4 with accessories.

Picture of the box, complete with all the original packaging and catalogue.

A picture of all the basic parts/accessories (save for the stock inner barrel) that will be included, regardless of the nature of the deal. From left to right, top to bottom, is an 80-100rd midcap, original sling mounts (for stock tube and front sight), front sight adjustment tool, both original flash hiders (black one is metal, orange is plastic), and the stock 8.4v 1100mah battery.

Thanks again for checking out my ad! For more specific pictures or details about the gun, shoot me a PM.

General Airsoft Discussion / Airsplat/AirsoftAtlanta
« on: February 18, 2011, 09:04:16 PM »
Anyone ever ordered from Airsplat.com and/or AirsoftAtlanta.com? If so, how was your experience shopping with them? Airsplat I've heard some mixed things about, while ASAltanta I haven't heard much at all... Any input is greatly appreciated.  [smilie=armata_pdt_12.gif]

« on: January 20, 2011, 09:41:07 PM »
Selling some airsoft stuff to fund some different airsoft stuff. The circle of airsoft life turns once more, and with it, some old gear must be liquidated in order to make way for the new. All items in decent or better condition and fully functional. All prices are OBO. The prices marked are STARTING prices, I'm willing to haggle! Cash is king, though I am open to trades so offer away. I am located near APD, so that is the best place for me to meet, however I am willing to do a bit of driving to make a deal. Any questions or to make an offer, shoot me a PM. Thanks!

Trades I'm currently on the lookout for:
- A COMPACT GBB. Something like a G23 or KP8c.
- Considering any KWA GBB, save for the 1911 PTPs. KMP9, M9, USP, M11, MP7, etc. Can add cash on my part to make a deal!
- M16 or similar DMR. RIS and full stock required. I also have a TM AK I can add to trade for this!

- CYMA CM.030 G18c AEP  SOLD!!!!

- KJW 1911 MEU (KP07) $85
Amazing gun, served me flawlessly for months now. Looks very sexy! Good condition, chronos at 290-310 with green gas, and around 330 with Co2. Not in a particular hurry to sell, as I love this thing, however I'm looking to get somthing a bit smaller to carry on the field as a sidearm. Includes the following:
+ 2 mags, 1 perfectly working green gas mag with brand new feed lip, and one Co2 with a slightly cracked feed lip and broken follower.
+ Original box, manual, and catalogue, complete with factory tiny adjustment allen wrench and front end removal tool for disassembly!
+ 1 spare magazine feed lip.
+ Box of 14 Crosman Co2 12 gram cartridges.

- Acog  SOLD!!!!

- LEFT HANDED UTG drop leg holster  SOLD!!!!

- AMP bungee sling with sling mount  SOLD!!!!

- ACU boonie hat (size 7) $10 alone or $5 when purchased with any other item!  DUMP POUCH SOLD.
Both in decent condition. No longer need as I bought a new hat and dump pouch.

- Broken Aftermath AK-47  $30  SOLD!!!!

- KJW full metal RIS  $15
Painted a rugged desert/woodland-sorta camo, looks pretty cool. Originally bought for my previously owned E1 M4, however it didn't fit by about 1/4 an inch. Would make a great addition to someone's rifle.

Thanks again, any questions let me know!

Troubleshooting / Resizing Mags
« on: January 17, 2011, 05:49:09 PM »
So I just picked up several plastic 100 round mid caps for my M4. They all feed wonderfully, however 3/5 mags fit way too tightly in the mag well of my Echo 1 M4A1 (Stag 15). Tight to the point of almost not even being able to get them back out of the mag well. I just spent about an hour on one magazine, first filing with a small file, then outright shaving off thickness with a pair of scissors. I've tried virtually every angle and spot on the mag I can think of to file, but it's still just as tight in the mag well.... Anyone got any advice?
Thanks!

Airsoft Items WANTED / WTB MANY Different Things, Take A Look!
« on: January 17, 2011, 12:37:18 AM »
I've decided to make a thread for all the things I am currently on the lookout for as far as airsoft purchases. I'm happy to purchase any of the items on my list new or used, so long as it's at a reasonable price. I have cash to pay with, or if you would like to to trade + cash for any of the items in either of my current sales, we could do that too. Any questions or if you have something to sell me, shoot me a PM.

- AKs! 47, 74, Red Star, 74u, etc.,  doesn't really matter. Need these for movie props. Being as they are for props and not airsofting, I will accept any spring powered or AEGs, working or not! Must be cheap, not looking for functionality, just visual props. The more the marrier!

- Aftermath compatible AK-47 butt plate. I recently acquired the aforementioned gun and need a butt plate for it (yes I am still looking for the previously mentioned AKs as well).

- Gas powered shotgun with multishot firing, 6mm (no 8mm versions please) basically the kind of shotgun as linked below:
http://www.Airsoftatlanta.com/airsoft_M ... /70176.htm

- Gas powered revolver. Must have at least a full cylinder's-worth (generally 6) shells.

General Airsoft Discussion / Reloading
« on: January 16, 2011, 12:10:43 AM »
So, I'm finally about to replace my high cap mags and invest in some mid caps. This means I'll be switching out magazines several times throughout the course of a game, rather than how it is currently, where I might reload one time before the game is over. I've never really been able to come up with a solid (meaning quick, easy, and effective) system of swapping out magazines mid-skirmish, so I was wondering; how do you reload? Do you use a dump pouch? Do you keep an empty mag pouch on your vest for placing the empty ones? Do you drop it to the ground and worry about it after the heat of battle has passed? I'd love to know how some of the vets on ASAZ swap out there mags, or any ideas that anyone might have on the subject. Thanks!

Gas Powered Guns / KJW KP07 (Co2 Mag)
« on: September 05, 2010, 06:45:17 PM »
So I just got in my KJW KP07 1911 MEU GBB from ASGI the other day, and I LOVE it!!!! I can't stop firing it, it's just so much fun!  :D  So anyways, everything with the gun is going great and working perfectly, save for one tiny issue: While marveling at the gun's awesomeness and getting used to all it's features, I slid the Co2 mag inside the gun (no Co2 cartridge or BBs in it), and slid it back out. All of a sudden, the gold thing on the back of the magazine you press to release the excess gas came out, along with the spring behind it! I had only used the Co2 mag twice up to that point, and have never pressed the gas release. I've tried figuring out how to get it back in, but I can't quite seem to get it to stay in the spot it goes without it falling out again....So, can someone please help me with putting it back in/on the mag so it won't fall out again? Other than that, the gun and green gas mag work flawlessly :). Oh, and if anyone needs to know, the little spring behind the metal 'button' thing is sort of cone shaped. Thanks!

EDIT: Nevermind! I fixed it lol. Admins may delete this post.

Spring Power!! / Left Handed Sniper Compatibility?
« on: July 29, 2010, 09:29:35 PM »
So I'm tossing around the idea of possibly getting a sniper rifle. The TSD MK96 to be exact. My question is, in the pictures on AirsoftGI (where I would purchase it from) make it look left handed...even the cheek rest is on the left side O.o. However, nowhere, across multiple sites and reviews, have I read anything about it actually BEING left handed. Well, since I am...you can imagine how this information is of great importance to me :P. If anyone has had any experience with this specific sniper I'd also love to hear about it, along with its compatibility with lefties. Thanks! :)

AEG's / Battery Question(s)
« on: July 28, 2010, 01:50:02 AM »
Sometime soon I'll be ordering an extra battery for my stock internals Echo 1 M4A1 off of Airsoft Extreme. Oringinally I was planning on just getting another 8.4v, as I do get a decent ROF with the battery it came with...but then I noticed the 9.6v on AEX is only $2 more. So my question is, is the 9.6v battery worth the increase in ROF? Most importantly, will the increased ROF have any detrimental effects on my gun's internals (in both short term and long term)? I've heard some people say it wears out your internals a significant bit faster.

Oh and also, if anyone happens to know how many BBs a general battery can shoot per every 100 Mah (or any Mah increment for that matter) that would be great. Thanks again! The community on ASAZ has been very helpful and I really appreciate it. :)

General Airsoft Discussion / Radio Help
« on: July 25, 2010, 07:55:37 PM »
So me and my friend (currently the 2 main and official members in MFD) are looking to purchase radios to better communicate before our next airsoft game. We were going to split the cost, and we're hoping to find something for $40 or under. We found a possible winner in Wal-Mart, but I was wondering if anyone on here knew of any good possible radios that we could use. Thanks!

Troubleshooting / Echo 1 M4 shooting off to the left?
« on: July 18, 2010, 11:26:53 PM »
I love my Echo 1 M4A1, however I have one small issue with it. The gun, from the moment I fired the first BB, shoots off to the left a bit. Now, all I had to do was adjust the rear sight off to the right a bit, and it aims perfectly straight. Though I've just stuck with the easy fix, and it hasn't caused an issues for me whatsoever in skirmishes or target practice, I'm curious....why does it do this? Other than that the gun works perfectly. Oh and if it helps at all my friend's JG M4 does the same thing but is also otherwise problem-free. So does anyone know the cause of this? And more importantly, how to maybe fix it (preferably without having to spend any money :P)? Thanks!

Gas Powered Guns / The Effects of Weather On Gas
« on: July 18, 2010, 05:09:14 PM »
So I'm considering getting the KJW 1911 KP07 GBB, which can run off both Co2 and Green Gas. However, being in Arizona, as we all know it gets hotter than Hell itself during the summer here (lol). So, I was wondering if the weather here will have any effect on the performance of either the Co2 or Green Gas. I know extreme weather can in some cases render gas powered guns practically ineffective, and seeing as it gets to be over 110 here on a regular basis during the summer, I'd like to know if that will effect gas performance at all. Also, since it DOES get a tad chilly here in the winter, if the colder weather in the winter here will effect the gas as well. Thanks!

General Airsoft Discussion / Trustable Sites?
« on: July 13, 2010, 05:28:49 PM »
I was wondering if the following sites are trustworthy and safe to buy from:

http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/UTG_Navy_ ... /17510.htm

http://www.amazon.com/CYMA-Electric-Air ... 612&sr=8-5

http://www.ebairsoft.com/cyma-glock-cm030-p-1773.html

As some of you may know, I'm on the hunt for the (seemingly) long lost AEP....Thanks!

Gas Powered Guns / New to GBB
« on: June 25, 2010, 04:03:59 PM »
Hello! So I've been considering possibly getting a GBB as a sidearm to replace my current M9 springer. It MUST shoot under 350 FPS, as I plan to use it for CQC engagements. My budget is $100, though I'm willing to go a little over if it means getting something awesome. There was one gun I really LOVE the look of, the WE 1911 4.3 Desert Warrior, however I had a few concerns with using it in skirmishes and in general. Since it uses propane/green gas rather than Co2, you can't really carry any spare gas canisters on you (to my knowledge, anyways), and I read that in that gun and in a lot of GBBs in general, the mags only hold enough gas to shoot off a single magazine's worth of BBs, which seems like it would really make using them in skirmishes a pain cause you'd have no way to shoot or refill the gas once you run out until the match is over. So anyways, any opinions/info on this particular issue would be great, any links to potentially good guns for me, as well as any useful information in general about GBBs would also be of great help, as I am just starting to take an interest in them.

Also if anyone knows of any good Co2 sidearms (blowback or non), and could tell me if the cost of propane/green gas is expensive, that would help too. Thanks!
