What a strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

I never got into DEFCON. I always lost because of a bad decision I'd made 30 minutes ago which, by the time my folly was known, was twenty minutes too late to fix it.

Holy grainy photos batman! I think I would have picked up a nice camera with some of that money flying around, but that's just me. Even though it isn't quite my cup of tea, I can appreciate the work that went into the "big ass hole in the wall."

pro tip: keep your computer up of the ground. put it on that desk or something. unless you dust it out 100% each week.

yeah i know all about the HAF 922, it will suck up all the dust it can, like its a job lol. hell if you have a long enough power cord it makes a great vacuum too. dust it out every so often and it will be fine lol. would be interrested in specs if you care to share.

hmm temtping, im using the G11 right now and have been for about 4-5 years and besides some off the back lighting coming in and out sometimes, it still works great. i was looking at the G15 or the Razor ones, but from all i have heard about the razor is that it is super loud. so i might stick with the G15. hell maybe a new G11. thanks for the input though, much appreciated.

I have a Razer Lycosa (mirror version) myself, and I love it after 2-3 years. I really like the shallow keys, like a laptop. The media key(to open itunes, windows media player, etc.) stopped working once I switched OS from XP to 7. The volume, play, etc. all still work though. Dust and fingerprints seem to materialize out of nowhere though. I don't do the macro thing, but the Razer configurator is pretty extensive.  I just picked up a Nostromo and am looking forward to trying it out. I was actually going to post up my rig in the other computer thread once I get my desk cleaned off since I just moved.

I've got a pair of Lycosa's as well.  The mirror is much worse for fingerprints/dust than the normal one.  Between myself and several gamer roommates over the last last 5 years, I'd say on average the Razer gear outlived the Logitech by at least 3x.  The big one for me was on the last several Logitech and Saitek backlight keyboards the finish on the keys wore off far too fast so you can't tell what key you are pressing.  Roommates and parents Logitech keyboards both lasted roughly 6 months before the face of some keys were worn enough that you couldn't see what you were pressing (and they get less use than mine).  My Lycosa was purchased 8/11/2008 and is going strong.  The "A" key is showing a bit of wear but you can read it.

Now that you mention it, my "A" key has lost the little triangle in the middle of the A. I never noticed it before. If this keyboard ever dies, I would definitely get another one. I was hesitant on the price at first, but I have no regrets.
