I've been doing some work on my guns and these are the parts I don't need anymore;

CA full metal (ex. foregrip) front assembly. Some scratches and wear but nothing detrimental to performance, also, foregrip is cracked, i put liquid nails on it but I dont know how long it will hold. $60

Madbull Gemtech "Blackside" mock suppressor. Some scratches, nothing big though. $30 SPF
King Arms Metal front flip-up sight for M4. $25
Systema V3 spring guide. I put this in a gearbox, never fired it and now i dont need it anymore, great condition. $15SPF
8.4 1400mAh NiMH Stick battery w/ deans, used once for target practice (about 100-150 shots.) $15
Nameless metal MP5 front sight apperature and flash suppressor, some scratches, once again does not affect performance. $15

AIM front assembly, complete upper and lower recivers w/ ECHO pins, and retractable butt stock (no buffer tube.) $10 for each

General Off-Topic Discussion / USNA and airsoft

I am very interested in attending the United States Naval Academy and was wondering if there was anyway I could document airsoft as a sport or extracurricular activity that would be beneficial towards my acceptance. I understand that they are looking more for community service and leadership (which I do) but is it possible to see airsoft in that light? Would getting recommendations from event coordinators or veterans that play be better?

I was looking to make an LMG using an M16 base similar to the Colt Automatic rifle.

Just wanted to know if this would be an acceptable replica of an LMG and if it would be considered a "dedicated" LMG if I put on a heavier foregrip and Cmag and possibly a bigger outer barrel. (or more?)

Ok I'm selling all this stuff because I've either not used it or moved on to better stuff.

first off is a condor tac vest, its seen a lot of action but has held up gracefully. No rips or tears, good condition. 30

Condor hydration carrier with two pouches. The carrier itself has seen one skirmish but the bladder is brand new still in the plastic. No rips or tears good condition. 30

Drop leg dump pouch, only a few skirmishes, no rips, tears good condition. 20

Drop leg holster, never used, it's literally sat under my bed for a month. 20

Misc pouch, used once, MOLLE straps on back are uneven but still work. 5

Swiss arms hip holster, never used. 10

ICS Mp5 hi caps 200 ea used twice, 10ea

nameless Mp5 hicap 110, used once. free if you get somthing else

ALLICE M16 triple mag pouch, used once, some tears, not detrimental to performance. 5

I'm looking for 2x rack gears the same size, and one pinion gear to go in between the 2 rack gears. Anyone know where to find them individually locally? :-s

AEG's / CA or Echo1 M249

I was wondering why the CA M249 is almost 200 dollars more than the Echo1 version. :-s I am a huge fan of Classic Army but I know Echo1 makes some good guns. I want to know the difference between the two other than the "stats." I want to know your good or bad experiences with either. Is the gearbox more solid on one or is there a structural difference? Like I said, I trust CA to have a better gun but can it really be worth 200 more? :?

I understand that the CA comes with a few different things than the Echo1 (ex. the large type bat and preupgraded gearbox)
but the gearbox on both seem to be pretty close to even, leaning toward the CA.

Troubleshooting / New problem

weapon: CA M15A4
problem: semi auto only works when god wants it to
upgrades posibly affecting this problem: M110 spring, 9.6 battery, or human error

ok so i put in an M110 spring and a 9.6 bat to compensate and put the gearbox back together but it would not fire in semi-auto mode it would sound like it wasnt shooting all the way or getting the piston up and back all the way.

I tryed it again and it worked, once, next shot it failed again. I turned it to full auto and it worked fine. I turned to safe and back to semi and it shot full but nothing came out, I tilted the barrel down and a BB came rolling out.

Anyone had this problem before? or help on what it could be, im thinking I hit the selector switch when I put it back into the body. Is it a bigger problem than the siuation presents? Any help would be appriciated.

Its not a big deal right now but I would like to know how to fix it
