Hydrox88 if you could understand how a lot of the people here on AA feel then you would understand why a lot of the more experienced players won't play there, it has nothing to do with the field itself.

We have had allot of the more experienced players come out to cowtown and most are return customers. We have had people who range from 20+ years experience to the newbies. Its been a great pleasure to see that we have had dads who have Airsofted from the beginning bring there son's to play. Since April we have had over 700 people attend our events age's ranging from 13 to 45. AA is simply a forum word of mouth can be just as good if not better. like Mike Simpson of MTT said, when we were at Halfbreed's Birthday party a good 70% of Airsofters have no clue about the forums 25% use it only to RSVP or sell gear and the other 5% are the people who use it as a blog.

This is very true. A few people, i fear my self included, have made it an undesirable place to play on the off weekends (or week days). Please do not make any assumptions of the field or the people that are hosting it. The game play is improving and with out the veterans input on the games there can not be any improvements. Just don't make any assumptions about the field or the people hosting it. PhoenixShadowCompany is much more professional then they first appeared. I will admit the atmosphere there is a little more child friendly then your usual field but that is to be expected on a privately owned field like this.

I understand what you are saying, but if someone doesn't plan on going out to Cowtown then why post something like what Smoking ACE said in the first place?

At the same time that's one of the good points for cowtown that i see.  Its a good environment for under 18 to play.  Airsoft IMHO is a good hobby for kids, I've been playing for over 10 years, back when i started i would have loved to have somewhere like cowtown to play at.  I don't mind playing on the same field as youngins, teaching them the game and tactics is part of the fun (and a lot of the time them turning and using it against me and shooting the f*** out of me).

As for the drama, as i have said many times I'm here to play, this is a hobby, and could care less about it.  For those of you who don't want to come out and play because of it, that's fine I hope you enjoy yourself elsewhere, but all I've gotta say is Phoenix Shadow Company isn't just a single member.  Get to know all of us.

Team Comedian :D

i mean, if he actually came to a game the world would most likely end..  O:)

if it really is changing for the better, i would like to come out and give it a few more shots. when i am back in the valley i will be sure to do so, i'll try to drag smoking ACE out there with me as well.. ;)

don't worry, he's a good guy. i don't think he meant anything negative by posting that, it was most likely more of a "really? that would be a refreshing change.." type thing

Well i guess we will (maybe) see you then. As for dragging me out there i will let the Marricopa County Sheriffs department sort that one out. I will  have to give some of them a call and see if anything is "scheduled" to happen. Seeing as how i now have some friendships with them after last time. Guess thats a good thing its always good to know people in high places.
