With my next paycheck this Friday, I am gonna pick up ARMA2 and download DayZ. I have been eye-humping every thing I can about this game since this thread popped up on here. Would really love to get into it, plan on at first just dicking around in game, getting a feel for things before I start getting serious into it. I do plan on buying ARMA on steam.

Lots of new info on that game! I'm buying it even though it looks like it's based off of the War Inc. engine.

Decided to buy Arma 2 and give DayZ a try.. pretty fun but deff need to play with a squad.. i got ambused by like 5 guys while i was scavenging for loot. Scared the crap outta me but thankfully they were nice enough to give me a nice gun and let me live lol. I use DayZ Commander to play and i think my username is Ruffles.

You should play with me and my one other friend. We had a squad going but basically split our own separate ways. I'm not sure if we still have our tent or not but from what I can last remember we had a spare FAL, 50 Cal, M4, and some other essentials.

Got a good setup where i am, just looking for people to group up with and gather better supplies and raid citys.

I play, also I have extra NVG's and range finders (I think I have an extra ghillie too) if anyone wants to team up. Also ill take you to get M4's and ammo
