so i bought a magpul pts masada and when i fire in single it winds up but doesnt fire i put it in full auto it fires a couple times but dies i touch the battery and its hot .. in picture below im not sure if this might be problem or not . not sure what it is but it was connected i just now disconnected it is it suppose to be connected or is there suppose to be a fuse in between it

There used to be a fuse that goes there. Most people take them out and put the copper ends directly together so that the fuse can't blow. Also uses less power from the battery.
The problem you are experiencing doesn't sounds like a battery issue. Try with anther battery and if it does the same thing then it's an internal/wiring promelm.

Battery getting hot means too much power is being drawn from it. This usually means a short. A fuse would blow in this situation which is exactly why the guns include one in the first place. :)
