Time to buy a year pass or two.
« on: April 10, 2011, 05:12:45 PM »
Its going to start getting hot out in the coming months. And I sure as hell don't want to be sweating my brains out in 100 degree weather with gear on  :x

I hear places like Vanguard offer a $75 Yearly Membership, and on their website it says "$5 Off Field Entry" I know im not going to go every weekend, but maybe $10 would be better, in exchange for not having a cup and the T-shirt + lanyard, also you have to use their BB's :/ -Not too keen on, just bought abunch of Matrix .23's-

Any other indoor AC'd places? Maybe something that isnt Massively CQB -Maybe instead of the game-floor being ply-wooded up with buildings, the walls would be spread out slightly more to allow longer range engagements. -Im not a CQB person, I cant run around and I more-over hate Full Masks, I hate even wearing my goggles :/ (Stupid glasses, need some contacts)-

Outdoors is fun, but not when you have to stop every 10 minutes to drink some water, take off some gear.

You should be drinking water during indoor activities too!

If you can't handle your gear, exercise a little more.

As far as other places, I don't think there are any others that are air-conditioned. Maybe try games up in the Prescott or Flagstaff areas.

To my knowledge there isn't another indoor venue anywhere in the US that isn't CQB.
Besides, you don't have to look like you're gonna paradrop into Bannanastan to have a .BB gun game..-Lose all that G.I.Joe dress-up stuff and play cooler.
From about now until October its just night games and VIP for me. Welcome to Arizona.

As soon as it started getting hot, I stopped using my vest and switched to my H-harness, SO much lighter!!! And now, I'm trying to get a hydration carrier instead of using a bottle. But PSC is only hosting night games now so it won't be during the day

I personally I don't  go to Vanguard for the fact that their BBs are trash and could cause some serious issues with your gun.

Run with a light rig to avoid overheating. Take your time and use a camelbak. this would prevent you from having to stop every ten minutes.

You live in Arizona, hydrate or die...

Games up north are a cooler alternative. Just in case you missed that. :D
