Wish I could be there. I miss WA. I played paintball over at Nighthawks, in Reardon west of Spokane.

Let me add my vote for Fightertown, I've played paintball there mostly, and some of the airsoft inc. an MTT "Blackhawk Down" before. They've got a great variety of terrain inc. trenches and helicopters and all sorts of buildings.

Had a big pre-opening session last night, a dozen players from Thor's Hammer paintball and two airsoft teams - Mile High who you may know and Team Killjoy who are high schoolers. The airsofters got to put in their two-cents on field layout and over several hours we ran through the whole spectrum of armaments, from games with their airsoft pistols and AEG rifles, to the fields .43 cal pistols and very realistic assault weapons firing powderballs to the same plus the awesome .68 cal pump shotguns and hopper-fed SAW and a couple of more conventional markers firing normal paintballs.
In a very memorable game three of us from Thor's Hammer joined one of the owners sons to take on the five from Team Killjoy, the battle was .43 cal and .68 cal paintball - I went in with my Spyder Compact and about a hundred rounds total so I was even with the guys using 3 mags. I went left at the break and shot out one opponent on our left then advanced into the mid-field tire stacks, fellow Hammer Steve was on the right with his laser-augmented A-5 and he pushed too but got shot, one of the opposition thought they saw an opportunity and ran out to take Steve's spot but I shot him cross-field as he moved past my line, ultimately I ran out of ammo but kept bobbing and weaving and making like I was still deadly and my other team mate Josh with a .43 came through - sniping the last enemy who thought he needed to lean out just a bit more to get a better shot at me !

**** RTTS indoor field has closed *** plans to relocate to a new location are on indefinite hold ****

Opening soon we'll have an all-weather close quarters battleground called Real Tactical Training Simulations, RTTS for short is a spin-off from recent work enabling more-realistic training for the US Army. RTTS will make available an arsenal of pistols, submachine guns, assault rifles and even pump shotguns, SAWs and grenade launchers (!) with authentic size and weight, most shoot .43 cal (11mm) paintballs, or powderballs, in a arena with over 12,000 square feet.  The weapons are fantastic, powered by CO2 the sounds effects are outstanding and the numerous structures are built with shoot-through panels (a feature the Army preferred in their training) plus the lighting can be adjusted to simulate battles from high noon to twilight. The powderball option is probably a very good choice for most MilSim and airsoft specialists, the effect is similar to the marking type BB's but the larger pellets have more visibility flying downrange and more authority on impact including the potential of penetrating select areas of the bunkers.
