starting a new tuning parts shop
« on: October 02, 2011, 10:11:37 PM »
most of the long time players and anyone that has played with me recently knows the perforemance of my guns. anyone that doesnt, i am willing to let them check them out
at any game i go to. i am starting a tuning/parts shop for airsoft. i have building guns for more than 10yrs. there are quite a few tech related advancements that have been made in the past few years. i will be offering a variety of services, from basic spring upgrades to full builds.

i will be stocking a wide range of parts from shs/supershooter.
they are quality parts at cheaper prices. im not gonna tell you that they are the best products out there but for the price they exceed their value.

i would also like imput for what shs/supershooter parts you would like to see avalible.
pistons are obvious, im allready buying a lot of them.
i will be stocking the shs full steel 15teeth and the super shooter clear blue polycarb pistons.

shs has a new 7075cast alum body that i will be ordering. they are black anodized and come with the supershooter logo. nothing i can do about the logo untill i can afford to buy 150units then i can get them without the logo.

im curious to know if there is any interest in the shs ftk's

as for gearsets i allready plan to order to order the 13:1 sets since high speed seems to be very popular right now and i will be getting some of the 32:1 as well as some stock ratio.
are there any other gearsets that you would like to see in stock?

im not sure if i will be carrying the supershooter polycarb tappet. i have seen at least 1 review where the spring catch broke off at high rof, if anyone has an opinion about this feel free to speak up. i will be carrying all the shs nylon tappets as well as their selector plates.

i will also stock the cylinder heads and cylinders and nozles
i am also going to stock their 1 piece stainless cnc cylinder unit (cylinder and head machined as 1 piece)

if there are any other items that you would like to se me stock feel free to speak up.

I WOULD PREFER ANY REPLIES FOR WHAT I SHOULD STOCK BE THROUGH PM AS THAT WILL BE THE BEST WAY TO ASSESS DEMAND. AND IT WILL HELP PREVENT THE THREAD FROM GETTING TO CROWDED. AT THIS TIME I ONLY WANT REPLYS THAT DEAL WITH SHS PARTS AS THIS IS WHAT MY FIRST ORDER IS GOING TO CONSIST OF. I WILL BE STOCKING OTHER BRANDS IN THE FUTURE BUT FOR NOW IT WILL BE JUST SHS/SUPERSHOOTER PARTS.

feel free to ask questions about my tech services in this thread. for basic work like spring upgrades my prices will pretty much the same as most other techs in the valley.
but i will be offering more advanced tech services for the disserning player. where reliability and performance are the main concern.

when i fully open the name of my shop will be:
F.L.T. field limit tuning
i chose that name because i have allways strove to achieve the maximum allowed performance out of my guns. as most of the long time players on here can atest my guns have almost always chronoed just under if not right on the leagle limit and have performed all day long with out a problem, even with a boxmag and a heavy trigger finger. i cant say ive never had a failure, no one can. but i strive to have them as far and few between as possible and most of those were because the parts just wore out over time.
my most reliabe guns that i have built are:

my tmp90: full build has had the same gears in it since 05 motor finaly burned out though. has a box mag and i cant even tell you how many rounds it has seen.

tm mp5a5: full build, this is the gun that i built for my step dad "sr" the worst thing i ever did was give him a box mag for that gun. when he saw somebody he would just hold that trigger down utill he hit the person. it is exactly that same as i built it in 03or04 the only thing i ever had to do was change a piston every once in a whie and regrease it. because of the way he played it has seen more rounds then my p90.

my tmg36: full build: built it in 04 and its exactly as i built it. i have only replaced 2 pistons and regreased it a few times. you can see the p90 and g36 at almost any game im at as well as several other guns that i have built.

thank you for your time and sorry for the novel.

i ment to put that in the op, sorry. i will be operating out of the west valley. i live in young town and there isnt shit out here for airsoft as far as shops go. the whole west valley is bare. this way people on the west valley dont have to drive all the way to tempe to get decent service. for a small fee i might even be able to offer a pick up/drop off service. got to cover gas.
