Don't down on Avenged Sevenfold man that’s not cool. The Rev was and still is one of the best drummers ever.
yah i dont like any new/ post 1999 bands , and only found about 30 songs from new bands after 2001, that i actually like, bat country was one i made an exception to mainly because of the drums, the other 29 i found on uk charts, underground bands, and wild music styles. i like all types of music even crazy abudabi~ crap i cant understand, but i dont talk crap about any of the bands. i do get alittle angry when people mislabel styles of music in bands like emo and new wave bands that kids call punk. Avenged sevenfold as a whole, not super great, i dont like the band but if the rev teamed up with the guitar player form the living end, and the bass player from rancid then you'd have n amaizing band. just an example*
so really you cant talk spit about bands as a whole, if the lyrics suck but you like the beat blame the writer, if you think the singers terrible then he prob sucks, the rest of the band could prob do alot better/ get more fans if they changed out people where it was needed :-k
spread out your musical horizon and dig into the music, listen to each guitar or other, and focus in on it if you like it then take that and add it to another riff you like , its basic music and song writing theory
