Gas Powered Guns / Re: Who makes a good MP7

Yeah, the kwa one is best.

OP, in case you're still looking I got my mp7 from here. They have a free mystery gift with every order. I got a can of green gas, which is cool cause I forgot to order it...

Yeah, they sure did. That 12 month warranty only makes it all the sweeter!
Where I got mine they give out free mystery gifts with online orders, so I actually got an extra mag and bbs as my free mystery gift. It was cool!

CQB Bolt, Flashlight and laser

Cool! I'll look into those.

I have been looking into getting the HK MP7 how do you like it?

It's really fun, it is my fun gun. When I need to get out on the field and just have a blast it's the one I run. Super fun to use. (as all GBBs are, but this one especially).

I'd go with the 416, it's a better gun internally and externally. Plus you can use it both indoors and outdoors.
>Better Externally.
Kek uses same externals but I get what you mean. It is shorter. Has the same internals too.

Yeah, I was thinking of a different gun when you said m27... It's the same gun, but just two lengths. In airsoft, that kind of length difference won't matter in terms of accuracy. Go with the 416 cause it's lighter and easier to carry around.

General Airsoft Game Discussion / Re: Milsim Gear

It always depends on the mission, do you mean overnight milsim, more of a one day thing, etc. I can answer generally, and for more specific info find a thread specifically dedicated to it.
Usually you'll wear a bdu uniform of your team/factions colors. So if we take US/NATO as an example you'll likely wear multicam, and carry NATO weapons. You'll want to have a backpack with hydration in it, be that a hydration bladder, or extra water, you NEED to have water. Then of course you need your primary gun, secondary. Possibly backups for both. Ammo, mags, propellant (batteries, gas, Co2, HPA tank, whatever your gun needs), you'll need cleaning tools in case anything breaks. A change of socks and underwear because you'll be glad you have it. And camping supplies if you are going for a overnight milsim.

The KWA MP7 is the best one out there. VFC makes one, and it's a 1:1 scale replica, but it's not very good despite being 50 dollars more...

Gas Powered Guns / New SMG that I got

I've recently got a HK MP7, I want to turn it into a sweet swat/sf gun. What upgrades both internal and external do I need to do to it?

No, get the cqb length. It's lighter and easier to handle. But since it's airsoft, once you get past 150mm the inner barrel length has almost no effect on accuracy.

there is really no difference between the cqb and rifle length, except the length. You will likely have to downgrade the spring for cqb play though.

Oh, I didn't know that. You said the avalon? I'm actually looking at getting one, where did you get yours?

Oh, that's cool! I got mine from Modern Airsoft (https://modernairsoft.com/collections/vfc-avalon-vr16) since they give a free mystery gift with every order, and they have better customer service than evike imo.

Yeah, you can run a lipo in any gun without a mosfet, a mosfet is just more of a security protocol than anything. It will regulate the amperage coming in and prevent the battery from being too powerful for the gun. I'd recommend to start with a 7.4, as they are pretty similar to a 9.6 is terms of amperage, but give much better trigger response. A 11.1 can cause issues, in my VFC vr16 avalon when using an 11.1 on semi auto my gun will shoot twice because the voltage that the battery gives per trigger pull is too much, and it spins the gears around twice. A mosftet would fix that, so I'd recommend getting a mosfet if you're going to run a lipo, but you don't have to.
