If you look through some of my more recent older posts you will find some info about the CA I just got.

From what I have heard, seen, and experienced. TM M4's are easier to upgrade and just more user friendly. If you do not plan on upgrading anything internally the CA is by far a better stock gun. Shoots higher FPS, metal body, better gears, ect.

So thats my take on it.

and its rock-solid!  Easily passes the 'baseball bat test".

...keeping this in mind while noting I am a TM RIS owner.

Screwloose has got some of the coolest guns in AA now.  First the Mk23, and now the solid M4, I am beginning to think he is trying to seduce my inner "weapon whore".  I still think that huge scope has gotta go, though :)

I have a CA M15A4, I got it from Zorks.com for 270.00, I had problems with the first one I got. It had wire problems, hop-up wouldnt work. But it look great!!! I bought a Guarder aimpoint, but I need a high mount. I dont like how its sits as is. Too low, in fact I wish I would have just got the ACOG replica. Anyways I new too, so dont listen to a word I say.

The CA Armalite guns are a great buy.  You don't need to anything to them out of the box unless you want to add a red dot sight or something of that nature.  Matt is sounds like your's just needs some minor attention, nothing major to fix.

Same gun, different designations.  Everything will fit.

CA M15a4 carbine or TM M4A1, which should i choos
« Reply #11 on: September 16, 2003, 09:44:21 PM »
[?]I am brand new to the sport and currently have two gbb (glock and uzi), although they are fun i am ready to get a AEG. I really like the Classic Army M15A4 carbine's metal reciever, but i have never hurd anything about it. I also hear that the TM M4A1 is a very reliable weapon. HAS ANYONE HAD A CA M15A4,OR HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT IT?? If so did you like, any serious problems?
