Seeing as how Black ops was a major disappointment to me, Im getting BF3 without hesitation. The multi-player of the Battlefield games is second to none on the console. I will probably get MW3, but only after a few reviews are out. No need wasting another $60 on something that I could have just rented instead and been equally disappointed about.

Is there really anyone out there that doesn't just get all/both?  I buy games that I know are going to be kind of stupid, but still somehow want to play.  I even play through the dumb ones for some reason.

And your stack of games you have played through yet is HOW deep now?  :p

11.  I'm catching up.

alright so my 2 cents is probably gonna get slapped back somehow... alright i have played every call of duty since the original i love how they made the two companies compete with each new release in order to get a new fresher better expirience and it worked until world at war then it went extremely gay really fast... minus the modern warfare series which seem to be on par every time with what a rpgfps should do black ops sucked by the way to jumpy and way too restrictive of an environment... now i absolutely loved battlefields bad company series so far what other game actually allows real time destructive environments as well as several little perks throughout the game.... plus that gameplay video looks sick as shit... im gonna get both and hopefully they wont disappoint.

Lets not forget here that MW3 is NOT being developed by the same company/team that made MW and MW2 soo good.
I don't know about any of you other guys, but I sucked at mw2. In cod4 I had about a 1.3 KD rating, MW2 I had about a .7 KD rating, but in the ones produced by Treyarch, both my KD ratings are above 1.5

Bf3 is about team work and working with your squad to complete a objective or blowing things up

Mw3 is run and gun, killing and getting airstrikes

Bf3 equals realism
Mw3 is run and gun

Battlefield 2 was probably the funnest Modern... War(time)  type game I have ever played. Squad tactics were great, the game really forced you to work as a squad. And if you happened to get into a squad where everybody had microphones, you were unstoppable.  My only problem with battlefield 2 was if you couldn't get a decent squad together, then heavy metal ruled the game.  But for the most part, in it's hayday, it wasn't too difficult to put a decent squad together if you were lucky enough to hit the create squad button fast enough. (f6 I think it was?)

The bad company series strayed away from what made the battlefield franchise great, in my mind. Bad Company 1 was ok, Bad Company 2 I couldn't stand, especially the campaign.

I hope they learn from that and get back to battlefield 2's core greatness in BF3.

And I hope they do something different with vehicles, so you don't have 5 people standing on the helipad holding down E, and loosing control points cause half your team wants the Jet.

If you never played BF2 with the Hard Justice mod, you were missing out.  The Commanche owns EVERYTHING in that.  It's a wee tad flimsy though.

Yo bitches.

Nuff Said X2
I was actually watching the new BF3 multiplayer video when one of the top comments was some guy who said "With all the vehicles wouldn't get tired of being blown up by them constantly; BF3 Gay" Obviously he didn't know or wanted to recognize the larger scale of the maps and what you can do to counter with vehicles. Now I played the call of duty series for a while as well and I still don't even want to recognize Modern Warfare as part of the collection, its more as retarted cousin or something.

But here's a clip that sums it up.

I played BF3 alpha, not going to lie it was awesome. Graphics were amazing the movement was really smooth and fast passed, it really brought me back to the BF2 days. In my opinion BF3 is going to be way better then any MW coming out soon.

Only bad thing i can find about BF3 is no commander position as well as they have the stupid Rush mode from the bad company series. Also i really hope they don't screw it up with a hardcore mode.
