Title: Quickie abot trasporting a can
Post by: Polie on June 05, 2009, 09:32:44 AM
Is it legal to drive from AZ, through CA, to Washington with either a separate suppressor or an internally integrated suppressor?

I think since it's an NFA item you have to contact ATF if it's leaving the state. You might also check the laws of states you are traveling through as states like CA restricts cans completely.

I'm thinking no, especially through CA, but I think Doc would know better than I.

Fill out and submit a 5320.20.

Peaceable journey applies - as long as you are driving through and it's not your final destination, it will be fine.

Avoid indian reservations.
