Local Games Listing/RSVP / Re: Mil-Sim Game
« on: February 13, 2015, 07:55:24 AM »
Looks nice, from what can be seen. Looks like there are people playing pick up games there, judging by the numbers and gear level.

However, some solid intelligence would be nice. Barely a date, and time. And no semblance of location.

Looks like Prescott from the meeting place, but I could be wrong.

just thought id hop in here since i am the local az dealer for the vtg line of grenades.

the vtg line of grenades now come with the .209 shotgun primer adapter included so there is no longer any need to buy the adapter seperatly.

How many orders do you need to make it happen?

Welcome Calvin. The Tucson milsim as well as other places has become sporadic over the past year. We do come out monthly to the bush and shoot at each other. Off the grid Tucson milsim is done by the Desert Hawks. PM me or go to deserthawks.org for more local info, but I usually cross post it to AA.

Those VTGs are beautiful, What type of blanks do you use TJC10?

I just use shotgun primers, but have the same adapters that Red Devil uses.

I will be making an order from SWAT VTG in April if you want to jump in on it.

http://deserthawks.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1637

PM me on my forums or shoot me a text at 5204299590 and identify yourself. I can order them direct now for what Spazz was charging for them then. Currently, if you order 3 or more they are $156 each with the extra shotgun primer adapter. No profit just a group buy.

You don't need it, and can get 50 x 9mm blanks for $18 at cheaper than dirt, and many other places. The VTG alone is $133.39 shipped and it comes with the ability to use the 9mm (.38 cal) and 12ga blanks with no additional cost.

That's why I use frequency encryption. But isnt that considered as counter ops?!

You can do what you want, it's an honesty sport, filed with honest players. If your really paranoid, go for it. (Assuming you have the required licenses) just make sure you listen in on your team's main channel or admin channel for alerts and emergencies, and don't be a douche and listen to the other team's channels or you'll get ejected from the game, and nobody will want you around in the future. Again, back to the honesty thing.

I wouldn't worry... I usually run several radios, tuned to my side's freq's. If you run encryption you will only be able to talk to those with the encryption. In essence anyone with a $20 radio, which is most airsofters, wont be able to hear your traffic...

SIGINT and ELINT are prohibited in airsoft.

The Desert Hawks use a version of these. We use a $2.50 Harbor Freight window alarm. They are taken seriously at local milsim games but no longer usable at big events such as Lion Claws. They are too easily reused.

This what I use as well as other people around
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyNWh-6UDeo

$153 for the grenade (ordered directly from SWAT), or $175 will get it and the shotgun primer adapter (again directly form the manufacturer). I paid $150 with the adapter from Spazz here on AA. There are other people in the mix that want to be dealers as well.

I use shotgun primers at $0.04 for each shot, and I have thrown it in a game or demonstrated it no less than 180 times. That is $158 spent. 180 Thunder B's would cost $450 in shells and C02 cartridges, not to mention the cores that usually become unserviceable quickly and need to be heavily modified to get them to go off in a timely manner.

Dayton you have a typo in your fps rules:

DMR Replicas: 2.25 Joules (Semai Auto Only, Full auto physically disabled, 60ft M.E.D.) (equivalent to 440fps w/.25g, or 500fps w/.30g bb)

You still in Tucson or did you move? The TAC page has been down for a long time and we have migrated to Facebook under Tucson Airsoft Coalition and use deserthawks.org for local stuff. Most of the surviving people from then are Hawks now.

As many know the boys from Tucson will be attending. This year they made a uniform change.

If you intend to go and be on the green side and with the Russian faction, check out a thread I put up on our forums.
