M14 anti reversal latch problem
« on: August 01, 2005, 07:09:53 PM »
I need to know how to set it up correctly, or if you have worked on the M14's before, I'll give you $20 and the mechbox to put it in place correctly.

Thanks for the picture.  I'll try this first but  PM me when we can meet.  And I'll buy you a good lunch :D
I had it set like that, and it won't work,  I'm doing something wrong, and being the first time opening it up, something was bound to happen.

BTW:  I don't know if this happened to yours, but the oring that went around the piston head was too small, and let too much air pass around it.  I put a systema O ring around it, and the seal is much better and more air comes out.  I think it's going to be shooting too hot for full auto/games.  But this was more collector based than anything.

Thanks man.

It looks like the reversal latch is slightly off.  The point of the latch that is currently pointing South should be pointing toward the gear.  Chances are the spring for the latch isn't seated right.

Okay, I'll give that a shot.  Thanks man.

I must not be grasping this mechbox concept lol.  I can't seem to get it.  I'm free until next thursday, so give me a call or PM when you want to meet.

Is it supposed to be like that?  I had it working for...10 shots... then it reversed... this is driving me insane.
