Man, they REALLY need to stop with the 1911 variation handguns...

a 6" Full-Auto? Wanna see a S-L-O-W cycle? Slap a metal barrel on that puppy...

This harkens back to an AirsoftPlayer's NewsFlash! issue. It was the one with the main story on WA producing some far off number of 1911 replicas (1649?). Anyway, there are so many variations that when I look at a website, it takes 15 minutes to load all of the pictures of the WA.

But, on the other hand, they apparently (don't own any gas guns) have rock solid 1911's. So, if that is true, then it should really extend that greatness to other mediums (H&K *cough* *nudge, nudge*).

Well, this post was pretty pointless, just somewhat of a rant because I looked at too many gas pistol pages tonight.

Cheers...

Well, imagine if we didn't look at them as a gas gun company, but a 1911 company? It wouldn't seem so weird. I think it's just that people want the quality they make moved onto other guns. Heck if you look at most of the old gas autos, a huge majority of those were a billion variations of the Armalite series. Historical precedent for Japanese airsoft manufacturers, I suppose.

Do one thing, do it well.

Plus, Arnie had a good point. WA used to produce Beretta's, but then they made the Perfect Version. So maybe they'll make a 1911 PV then move on...although that's probably wishful thinking.

I'm happy with my WA 1911. It's a beaut'

It sure is Bart, thanks for letting me use it Saturday. It felt just as comfortable as my real steel SV did.

You had a real SV? Is that back when you did IPSC?

Yep, I had a high cap SV in .40 S&W. I sold it this past spring.

Harley,

FOR SHAME! An SV in .40 S&W and you SOLD IT?!?!? Bah, what kind of logic is THAT??? LOL, however, I've been in tight spots and needed money before, though, so I can kind of understand. :-) (But it sounds like somthing I would have liked to have!).
