Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Re: Dirt Cheap Sale Clean Out *************
« on: July 19, 2008, 08:59:48 PM »
Lol thanks for all the responses. I am practically giving these away after all.
So far,
SVD = MAYBE 30 dollars. Definately 25
MP7= 3 people bidding on it, welcoming higher bidder.
The UTG is being asked for by two people.
and so far only one person wants the DMR.
And yeah, the revolver is broken. Stop asking

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Dirt Cheap Sale Clean Out *************
« on: July 18, 2008, 07:43:23 PM »
Alright guys.
I'm taking a break from airsoft until I'm 18.
I plan on selling all my broken stuff to help fund other things. (Cell phone bills, warhammer 40k, etc.)
I'm selling ALL of my broken guns DIRT cheap.
Some of them aren't broken just missing pieces.
Not all the guns in the picture are for sale, it's just the only picture I have.

First up is the JG SVD. Still works. The only things wrong with this, are a some what bad paint job on the handguard (Black) and the lack of a charger. Fires 300 fps, and has an Echo1 flash hider so you can add a suppressor. Asking price = 20 dollars

Second, is a badly beat up Echo1 DMR. First of all, I think there's bad compression because BBs just fall out of this gun.
Also, the plastic ring holding up the handguard is broken/lost. You can buy a new one from an airsoft site/store for 4 bucks.
The RIS handguard is full metal, and comes with 4 rail covers. I believe it fits CA and TM, but not sure. Asking Price WITH rails = 30 dollars. WithOUT rails = 15 dollars

Next up is a Well MP7. This gun is fully functional, completely. Comes with a charger, battery, and one 40 round magazine.
Only problem with this one is the retractable stock has broken off. Asking price = 20 dollars.

Next is a parted out Echo1 AK. Missing several parts. Like hop up adjuster, selector switch, stocj is broken off, flash hider is missing, upper reciever is missing. I'd only buy this if you wanted the full metal body or the RIS handguard. Asking price = 10 dollars.

Next is a crappy UTG springer shotgun with full Smith & wesson trades. (A repackaged UTG 870).
Works fine, asking price = 15 dollars.

Now for 2 polymer ak magazines. each are mid caps, holding 100 rounds each. They are waffle style. 5 dollars each.

That will be all, if you're interested in any of the other guns in the picture, send me an offer. I might sell them.

Airsoft revolvers have several drawbacks. However, I have seen them raise morale and make your squad leader look like a bad ass.
They aren't good for airsoft combat, but are very fun plinkers.
I bought one of those 20 dollar spring airsoft revolvers and it is my favorite plinker.

i also went with the utg mk96. even if it does suck it was not expensive and it would be a lesson learned on springers.  but i also got the cm030 g18 as a secondary if they get to close and have a crappy mp5 clone aeg but that is a last resort if everything else breaks.

You should have looked into it before you bought that Glock...
It's so weak, people don't think they're hit when they get hit.
It sparks a lot of arguments on the field.
Here's how I see a prepared sniper should be.
A Sniper rifle that isn't UTG or Well. Spring powered.
A medium level, short length AEG (Like a JG Spetznas) (Some fields won't allow this though.)
And a GBB pistol.

Yeah, saw that a long time ago.
In fact, I believe it helped me get into airsoft...
Airsoft was also on the history channel on Modern Marvels "Weird Weapons" a few weeks ago.
I have to torrent that.

Accessories & Gear
Discuss any airsoft-related accessories, cothes, or gear. How do you like what you have?

I've been staring at that for over 2 years now. Is there a reason it hasn't been changed?

Because they know it bothers some people. And it makes them laugh.

I've never heard if the Broxa... or that brand at all.
Now I know what company i'm getting my next gun from at least.

Classic Army is releasing two models of the P-90, a plastic-upper "sportline" model supposedly debuting at the end of August, and a metal-upper model coming towards the end of the year. No word yet on if they'll be compatible with TM mags, though.

My dream... Has come true...
The only reason I never bought a P90 was because I hate TM! Nothing personal, just hate high prices with plastic bodies.
but the real one has a plastic body.... same with the AUG and the FAMAS they make...

I know, but look at other guns.
400 dollars for a marui M14? That isn't even any better than a 280 dollar CA? And the CA has a metal body?
And the FAMASs plastic is not up to TM standards.
And who says they're the same quality plastic as the real ones?
And the real p90 has a metal upper reciever.

What do you guys think about the AGM L96 AWP Rifle (OD)
I think you shouldn't necropost.

However, to stay on topic, airsoft sniping works! I've seen people get much better groupings and much higher fps.
But I don't know how well sniper AEGs work... I know springers CAN work well but I would like to know how well gas snipers work.

Sniping DOES work...one of the dudes who comes out to Rebel Union has a JG BAR10 and man I would NOT want to get hit by that thing, hearing those rounds zip past and THWACK! scares the s*** out of me.

On the field, what scares me most was when back in Flagstaff, me and my friends would play in the woods.
In those woods, sounds went everywhere. Someone could be shooting right at you but it would sound like he was behind you.
It was like, getting shot at but having absolutely no idea where from.

Get a TM or at least a CA.  Slightly more money for higher reliability.  Just because the clones say they shoot harder doesn't mean they shoot better.

KWA comes in third.  That or STAR but good luck finding those.
i was looking up on a website and they said the CA one sucks and that the Kwa and echo ones were the best for prices and quality. PLus if i wanted a TM one couldnt i just get echo and upgrade parts to TM. But if i did i dont know what to upgrade and what parts to get from TM. :(

p.s i am just telling you all what i heard.

Im wanting to compare what a majority of people say and go with that :).

Dude, just a tip, Airsoftgi isn't exactly the best source of airsoft info.
They have a chart on the website that is obviously there to get people to buy brands like G&G and Echo1.
It says CA is the worst option for god knows why.
But, let me assure you, you can NEVER go wrong with a CA gun of any kind.
However, Echo1/JG will break eventually and a lot quicker than any other gun.

I guess I'm the only one who also knows criminals sometimes paint their REAL guns orange.

I finally got my g36c 2 days ago. Today i did some accurate shooting stuff (shooting coke cans haha) well anyway, the gun started making this.. draggi slow sound during shooting instead of the actually normal "Puff" sound.. i know its not the batterie, it was fully charged and i just shot around 5 bb's at that time.. anybody got a clue on what might be wrong?

Did you over-charge the battery?

I couldn't end up going. I ended up getting called into work.

Hope this doesn't count as bumping a necropost...

Regardless of your stance on gun control, ownership, safety, etc if you point a weapon of ANY kind at an officer after his presence is announced you can't honestly not expect to be shot or disarmed. We all know Airsoft weapons are REPLICA which makes identifying a real weapon from an airsoft weapon nigh impossible; especially considering not all of them have the orange tip on them...you know the one that screams "I'M NOT GOING TO KILL YOU," be it removed by the owner or purchased that way.

The officer was most certainly not in the wrong for doing what he did; he was in a position that made him frightened for his life - he took the correct course of action, this asshole is lucky he isn't dead for the stupid s*** he pulled.

/end rant

Exactly. There was a thread about this on /k/ awhile ago about this.
I was pissed off at all the liberal jerks making fun of the cop for not knowing the difference between a "Toy" and a real gun.
Dicks don't know anything about airsoft. Ignorance. Everywhere. Grrr...
