I got my vest from Weaponblender.  My BDUs came from Uchiha Itachi, and my Wustentarn came from Royal Tiger Gear.  As for the vest's colors aren't bad at all.

do not use the mag well converter.  Everyone who uses them ends up hating them due to feed issues.  Just use double m4 mag pouches, they work for one mag like whatshisface said.  No sense on buying a pouch that has one use and you have to switch out every time you switch guns.

well my first vest, was the SAAV, like 7 years ago. i personally didn't like it for G36 mags. they would get caught and so forth.  Also i find the two mag pouches on the bottom right are to tight. i'm just saying i didn't like the SAAV and i don't recommend it.  But thats just me. Just stick to something made for G36 magazines...like G36 mag pouches. cant really go too wrong there.

If you cut out the dividers all the way and put the mags with the feeding hole facing down and the bottom mag facing towards the sky, they don't get stuck at all.

Agreed. My first vest was the cheap SAAV reps.  I cut out the dividers, and it was still nothing compared to when I picked up my first Weblink set.  Then I got the TT MAV setup (I wasn't recommending the whole vest, just the G36 pouches, which are my favorite G36 pouches next to the IdZ ones, but of course, those are hella expensive, but DO fit on MOLLE).

I also have a flecktarn knockoff Maritime Ciras, but the pouches were for AR style magazines, the triple pouch fit one G36 VERY tightly, but the double pouch fit one perfectly.  I am probably selling this since I picked up the MAV and a IdZ over-vest.  I can't recommend an IdZ vest unless A) You want to go a German route AND B) You have a lot of money to get one and the pouches.

As for the cheap route, if you aren't going for German impersonations, or are trying to keep the cost down get a replica MOLLE vest (like so: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=4634, this one even fits one G36 mag per integrated pouch), and get some double or triple AR or AK magazine pouches to hold the proper amount of G36 mags, though triple M4 pouches can be a bit tight for linked G36 mags.  Read reviews, if someone says a double m4 pouch is tight fitting for two AR mags, it will be too tight for one G36, same for the triple pouches.

If you wanna spend a little bit more money on pouches, get the TTs, but as mentioned above, other companies make standard G36 pouches.  Just not in Flecktarn (if thats what you are even looking for, if you are, then PM me, I've got tons).

I wish I had that kind of money for gear like that.

I always put my gun first over gear.  (see sig)

HSGI makes some pretty good pouches (Link), while I won't lie and say they're a perfect fit, it's usable.  I'm sure you could modify the pouches to get a better fit, but it's good enough for me.

My mags fit fine in my AK mag pouches, something I got for $16 if you're to poor for a full on vest. I can fit 9 AK mags or 3 G36 mags and it's not to tight a fit.

Do any of you guys recomend the G&P KV stock for the gun? I heard it had weird plugs and it could fit a large type battery.

Best external piece you can get for the G36, period.  If you get one that comes with the custom battery, it is fitted with Deans connector (the battery is).  I recommend keeping it that way, and when you have your G36 rewired, have the connector switched to a Dean's.  And yes, it does fit standard large batteries.  Very comfortably.

I don't have a KV stock because.....

1. I don't like the look
2. Rather expensive
3. I just use 2 9.6v Elite 1500mah nunchuk packs and each one lasts a LONG time.

I can see an opinion on the look, but the other two aren't necessarily a good reason to not throw the extra cash at the KV stock.  A cheapbatterypack.com 3500 mah 9.6 for about 35 bucks (excellent quality) + ease of access (nunchuks are notroiously tough fits on G36 models handguards) + excellent balancing of the weapon will more than make up for the "expensive" price of the G&P KV kit.

If you don't like the looks, then no problem, I have nothing against that, but otherwise, after a tightbore barrel, this is THE upgrade I would make to any G36.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not arguing, I'm just stating.  If I had the money, I probably would get one.  I'd much rather spend that 50-80 on an Eotech

Yeah, I payed $62 for both of those packs.  (like total)  Actually, they are extremely easy to get into my SRC.  Balancing I will agree with you, my K is a little front heavy.  Oddly, after taking off the front rails, it is much less front heavy, even though the rails combined only weigh like a pound, if that.

Being a minor, money is hard to come by, so "making up" for the price can only happen if you can afford the price in the first place. :P

I always say- internals over externals, gun over gear, meaning I'd rather run around in just a BDU and have a really nice gun, rather than having nice gear an a stock JG.

Yeah i hears though that there are two brands that make them, G&P and I believe SRC does and i dont know which to get because the SRC one is cheaper and i dont believe it needs those new dean plugs either.

Deans connectors are much better than your Tamiya plugs. a good investment.  Even tho i'm still using my Tamiya plugs....its pretty simple tho, if you can use a soldering iron.
