What? You mean the bbs dont come out on fire? [
] Mabye if It shot in more of a wide spread pattern and at a constant stream, it might work well for clearing rooms. But it sounds like it will be more of an aeg type "stream" of fire. If thats the case, then whats the point.

Hmmm... looks like he put a lot of work into it. From the description, it sounds like the end result is similar to a fancy AEG though...

You could use as a type of support weapon I guess since it probably has a very large capacity. Wonder what the range is on it?

When I met Paul Piper (Piper's Precision Products had a table at one of the Crossroads shows a few months back) he had a flamethrower that resembled that model greatly, though it doesn't mention in that article if it is indeed that project.

You could use those cheap a$$ orange BB's for more dramatic effect. Sounds like a waste of serious cash to me though.

Unless it's making a cone of BB's, why bother?
It would be cool, though, if when the tank got hit it sprayed BB's everywhere...

Yeah they still use them. I have a friend back in NY who's brother is a Major in the Marines. A few years back he was giving a demonstration with one when one of the tanks developed a leak. He suffered 3rd degree burns on parts of his body. Luckily they always have a coush that some company would realise how much money they would make if they just made a gas M-14! I know that the AEG M-14 you have now is pretty nice, but wouldnt it be even cooler if a rifle known for its power and tanacity was powered by gas? Then it would make a more real steel like sound rather than one like a sewing machine. -Scott
