« on: August 30, 2010, 11:17:24 AM »
Marauders Tactical Training will be hosting our next zombie adventure at Vanguard Indoor Playground on Saturday, Oct. 30 from 10 pm - 2 am.

Our staff is looking for some input from fans of our previous zombie games to help make this adventure better.

Please feel free to post up:

1) Ideas for scenarios
2) Ideas for zombie rules
3) Access to props that you can make available for the game

Please send a pm or email to MTTStaff@gmail.com if you have any concerns or complaints about previous events.  This will help our staff to work with you on your ideas to make our event better while keeping the thread on track.

Thanks for the input!

i really liked the 'escape' scenario at the end of the zombie hunter game, but i think the zombies should start from a certain place, not just randomly in the map.

I completely agree, this was a lot of fun. I think with the zombies starting randomly around the course gave it a more realistic feeling. there not just going to come from one location there going to try and get you from everywhere.

and i had that in mind, i completely agree with the realism, its just the only reason i say that, is because i literally didnt get to move 10ft during that game. as soon as i started i made an immediate left and zombie was right there.
i realize i should have been more careful but i was not ready for them to be AT our spawn know what i mean?

GAME IDEA: just a though I have for a game idea, Ive done a few zombie games and many airsoft games. I would like a mission where two to three guys have to defend themselves. they have limited ammo and ammo is scattered around the map for them to find(and keep them from camping). The zombies are one hit, infinite lives, but have to return to one of the three or more spawn points to come back(this stops the zombies from just infinitly standing up and seem more like theres just hordes of zombies). The first grop have to hold out till the calvary arrives which would come after a set time (ex. 2 or 3 min) and consist of a squad of 5 guys or so. They then are tasked with rescuing the first group and then killing the virus by slaying all the zombies, who at this point no longer have infinite but only two or three spawns after the calvary arrives.
Idk this seemed like a cool idea to me any comments or changes?

IDEA:have a game called commie zombies based off of the N@@i zombies from COD:WAW. before the game 4-6man teams are made and their goal is to hold a position while waves of commie zombies attack them. wave one the zombies are slow and few in # but then in later waves their is more zombies and they move faster. Teams could get points per wave and buy ammo, barricades, mercs, anti-virus, and possibly a flame thrower(water gun). Jst my .02

Or maybe something where everyone who is playing, mainly zombies, don't have to limit themselves and natural instincts? The COD idea is good, but I don't think anyone will want to be a slow moving zombie that is easy to pick off. Plus, a lot of the guys used to milsim don't like camping a lot lol. I for one don't like camping personally, especially since VIP has such a nicely sized area.

Maybe we could set up a game where it's kind of like the Left for Dead games (if you want to base it on a video game)?

They had a game based off that and it ROCKED.

You could do a game like these guys did. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_eHwcyUx8-8. A bunch of space marines go on to a ship and find the crew mutated caniables with a few monstrous creatures.

Another idea comes from the book WWZ by Max Brooks, in one part of the book thay talk about the North koreans disapearing and possibly going into an underground bunker. The game could be set up so that it is a bunch of UN troop are going in to see what happen to them, but inside they find nothing but a bunch of walking dead. just some ideas.

or even the flip side of this, where a group of marines are barricaded inside a 'bunker' and forced to venture out to find 'supplies' and 'weapons' amidst a zombie apocalypse
not knowing if and where any undead might be lurking. they need to find so manyy supplies and make it back to the bunker with [so many] still alive to complete the mission?

ive been playng over here in sandiego and had the chance to go to a all night zombie op.
it was at code red airsoft and the team i am friends with and un-oficially a member videotaped the game

the zombies *were* aloud to run, nerf weapons were allowed, full facemask as always, you *were* aloud to come in contact with other people and there was a ammo limit.

it was 100X better than the last zombie game at the Urban assault.   it was also at night* which was a big factor.

there was biohazard boxes insted of people and a body bag you had to take to a room and seal off with tape and plastic sheeting.  strobe lights and fog were also a good adition to the field, also the zombie movie music playlist blaring in te distance  was a nice touch.

there was 4 stages and 3 breaks ,

there was one rule that was very different from MTT games    no aeg/ full auto gbb

we were VIP's at the field so they let gibby take his mp7 on single shot only

heres some links to the team videos

and might i add that i was the only one to survive all 4 stages without getting infected

Marauders Airsoft is looking for volunteers to play as zombies during Left for Dead.  Volunteers will receive a free admission to the December 18 Big Game at the Urban Assault Course.

There is no fee to play as a zombie during Left for Dead.  Zombie volunteers may also get to play one or more missions at the game depending on the number of volunteers.

For more information, send an email to MTTStaff@gmail.com
