Yet another stolen valor person who is now CEO of a non profit.
« on: December 05, 2012, 07:57:58 AM »
Episode #18 is out and ready for you guys to hear. We dive into the not so happy issue in Airsoft with fakes. Rainbow Airsoft is fractured over a lier within "Ranger" now calling himself "Trench". He lied about bring a Ranger, being Airborn, being a sniper and having served in the Ranger Battalion. Now he's CEO of a so called non profit "Warfighter Airsoft". It's a big mess and we are reporting it for you to know the truth.  Can't let liars keep fooling us, so spread the word.

Those guys always did seem scetchy, they've even come to these boards to stir stuff up after one of our members called them out.

I never liked rainbow, they always seemed to come out of the blue acting like "big shots", like they were trying to cover something up.

People tend to take this hobby much too seriously. All the fru-fru aside, we're just shooting .BB guns at each other.
Fake military types abound in every bar. That's been going on forever. Eventually someone calls them on their BS.
As long as its easy to buy any kind of patch, you'll have posers. Note: the Hells Angels don't have this problem...

What annoys me more than anything is that nowhere in there did he say he was stepping down. If he was really passionate about the cause, I think he should have taken the Armstrong route and made it about the cause, not him apologizing. My 2 cents.

Yes but sadly people know how to turn good things bad. Just like airsoft retailers are destroying the market. Airsoftextreme, Airsoftgi, Evike, and Airsplat are all competing for the lowest price. So if joe shmoe wanted to open a job they couldnt due to that competing for low prices. They are destroying the industry.

Not true at all. Competition has and never will be a bad thing. Forces companies to use resources and man power more efficiently. People that are killing the sport are the retards bringing their guns into local parks and running around with them out.

That it is very true. Although I didnt say ruining sport, I said Industry as selling industry.  There is another team in our town that they think they are awesome but they dont even know trigger control and they have had cops called to there house 4 times because they carry their guns out front of there house with painted orange tips. When we get a recruit for our team we constantly go over safety. Next door neighbor little 11 year olds and 12 year olds were running around with little walmart gun and out front and we have 3 cops that live in the neighborhood. I yelled at them telling them to go inside and don't ruin the sport.  Or at least take it to there backyard.
