AEG's / Re: EBB M4's...
« on: February 09, 2016, 08:54:49 PM »
If your interested a new system is coming out that has moving bolt function too along with bolt catch not sure on recoil though
made by GBLS called the DAS M4A1

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gc6JP0ohv6g

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sglLi5lHyYs

but also check the kwa lm4 forums on facebook. Many of them are selling custom lm4's with multiple mags at pretty reasonable prices and most likely upgraded too if your still interested in getting into gbb m4's.

Gas Powered Guns / Kjw p226 and tm p226 compatability?
« on: February 08, 2016, 10:07:19 PM »
Just a quick question, does anybody know whether or not the rear chassis or specifically part 26 and 27 where the hammer, firing pin, etc is compatible with the tm p226 rear chassis? I dropped my kjw p226 and the rear chassis piece the holds the hammer broke and I can find any replacements for that part except the tm one on wgc. If anyone knows if its compatible or know where I can find a replacement let me know. Thanks.

Gas Powered Guns / Re: Viper Tech M4A1 Bolt Catch
« on: November 03, 2014, 05:15:58 PM »
Well considering if it is even possible for a Viper Tech to use WE mags considering they use completely different systems there is no way to get the bolt catch to work unless you get different mags as the way a we tech mag engages the bolt catch is different from how the magma/western arms style mags engage the bolt. So your only options are to get new mags that uses the western arms/ magma style which are Beta Project, Prowin, G&P, GHK(best mags out of all of them), eb tech, JG, and Kingarms.

Also an npas is a valve in the bolt that allows you to adjust your fps by a turn of a tool

Like many gbbr's the lm4 has its pros and cons, but for a beginner gbb user its a great platform as its one of the better pick up and go platforms out there. Mags can get expensive and if you have alot they tend to get heavy on your kit but are one of the better mags out there if not one of the best and is close to or atleast on par with ghk g5 mags. internal wise there are a few things that could have been designed better such as hop up, a steel buffer lock, and a one piece upper but overall most of the really important internal pieces are already stock steel so you dont have to worry about replacing those.  I recommend you go to the kwa lm4 forums as they will show you all the mods and the ins and outs of the lm4 and how to maintain it. Overall I say I'm very happy with mine and I would recomend it.

General Airsoft Game Discussion / Re: Wild West for Airsoft?
« on: May 08, 2014, 08:45:27 PM »
well i dont know about night games and sunday cause i only go on saturdays but turn out is ok again since its new to airsoft. i heard highest was like 38 but usually when i go turnout is about maybe about 8-12 or so and thats from 8am to 2pm ish and idk after that if the group dies out or not. Id just bring a friend just in case but if you are going yourself id say try to go on saturdays in the mornings or ten ish maybe (from my experience) is probably your best bet in finding people.

Well to be fair Wild West still Mainly cater for paintballers and are new to airsoft so usually when there is a group of airsofter's they will assign a ref to us and we are usually the ones to decide what kind of rules and games we play. So of course the basic rules still apply there such as eye pro 400 fps for aeg's on .20s etc. Now i know recently lyntec airsoft (i think thats what they are called) on saturdays go out and take over the airsofters like a organizer and organizes the games and rules. Wild West technically have 3 fields for airsoft but the largest one and another is put together most of the time. Again games are usually up to us and thats like team deathmatch but if we  want objective games its up to us if we want to do that. I say go out there an try it out its one of my top fields here. For $10 all day and no bb restrictions such as bio only or buying their own the place is great value plus it being a closer such as vangaurd distance rather than driving 2 hours to get to adobe or fighter town is a plus too.  the fields are pretty good and with fightertown and their helicopters, wild west has their boats and their staff is pretty friendly too. to get a view of what the fields look like you should check their facebook page.

Gas Powered Guns / Re: help with G&p woc challenge kit

Nice. yeah it could also possibly be the mag since its a king arms. maybe the valve isnt long enough for g&p woc's im not sure im not too familiar with woc's. But i'd try different mags for sure and maybe start looking into a new hammer or maybe a 120%  hammer spring.

Hmm that is weird. I'd check to see if u assembled the striker right like leave the upper receiver off and look into the lower and insert the mag and see if the striker is hitting the valve on the mag at all. also check if the mag is seated correctly because from the video it doesn't seem like there's bb's in the mag and when you charged it the bolt didnt lock back.

Red wolf did a review and opened the gun up. Nothing about it was ptw except for a modified top cylinder that looked like a ptw cylinder. Other than that m14 gear set and regular motor and trigger. So its still a $480 aeg.
