Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Complete loadout sale **SOLD**
« on: May 27, 2008, 07:46:30 PM »
I am offering for sale everything I used at LC7.  Much of it is one game old, some is more used than that, but all of it is in excellent condition.  (I don't own or sell crap.)  I'll do he best I can with the descriptions but I've been out of the game for so long that I don't know the terminology anymore, so be patient.  I'll be specific as to condition and quality and you may ask any questions you like, but this is all being offered AS IS.  Many here can vouch for me if needed.  There is a lot of stuff, so there are a lot of pictures.  Here goes...

AEG-  Classic Army Armalite M15A4.  Crane stock, vertical forgrip, Surefire flashlight in Surefire mount with pressure pad on foregrip, rail covers made by both Classic Army and Knight's Armament, flip up rear site (unknown make, but sturdy and detailed), replica ACOG with new batteries (not magnified...red dot version), tightbore inner barrel (I don't know which but it rocks), some kind of short suppressor thingy (inner barrel goes to the end of it), many internal upgrades (shoots 360 fps with .25s consistently), and a lightly misted paintjob that is fitting for woodland or desert field use.  Also included with the AEG are two Crane stock batteries.  I don't know what the one in the gun is, but it ran like mad at the event.  The spare is a 9.6v and has never been used.  Also included is a padded and zippered tan gun bag, seven midcap magazines, three Magpuls, and what's left of my ammo (Killer Beez eco friendly .25s and Excel bio .20s...several thousand rounds total.)  Also included is a very basic charger.  I had a very long list of the upgrades and specific parts on this gun, but it was lost in a computer crash a few months ago.  I do remember that the combined cost of all of the parts was near a grand.  All trades are intact (and unpainted on the left side).
Pics:

$450 for everything listed above and pictured.  This is far less than it's worth so the price is firm.  No trades, please.
NOTE:  The tan single point strap shown on the gun and on the upcoming LBV is not included, but a brand new OD single point sling is included.

OD green knee pads.  I don't recall the brand but they were never worn in the game and are brand new.

$10

Four new/like new Alice style triple mag pouches (M16 mags)

$20 for all three

Woodland pattern head wrap, large size, never worn

$8

You can reach me at Razai@cox.net for questions, or post here.
No AEG sales to minors.
Thanks,
-Kyle

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / WTS G36 kit
« on: January 11, 2008, 10:21:39 PM »
I purchased a Marui G36C body kit about a year ago with the intent of building it up into a rifle for a film production that has since died...again.  I can no longer airsoft so I can't use it.  Trades were removed via engraver.  It's the full body (upper and lower), mag well, folding stock, short C forearm with metal reinforced/tapped rail attachment points and metal lower rail.  The kits does not include the internals but does include the selector switch.  The internals are drop in parts and with them this would be a fully functional gun.  The kit also comes with a very hard to find STAR carry handle with dual optics.  To acquire this one I had to buy an entire G36 package off of one of the boards.  It looks great and is in solid shape physically, but it took a shot (previous owner) to the front glass lens.  That lens is missing.  It's a replaceable piece if you're crafty with glass or plastics, but either way, that's the only flaw I know if.  I never intended to use this as an actual sight so I am merely addressing the physical descriptions here.  I have no field experience with the kit or this carry handle, to be clear.
For those who enjoy kit building, this is a good package.  I'll sell everything listed here for $125.  Face to face transaction in the Arrowhead area or further west.
I know everyone wants pics but I've never once sold an item without describing it honestly.  These are in exactly the condition I've described.  My method of transfer from my digital camera to my computer is dead, so I can't post pics anyway.
If interested, email me at razai@cox.net.  I don't get a lot of time to visit here anymore.
Thanks
-Kyle

http://cgi.ebay.com/Upgraded-Tokyo-Maru ... dZViewItem

As promised, the auction package I won arrived today and all I wanted from it was the dual optics carry handle.  I have not even unwrapped the rest of the items.  All are (I assume) as described in the Ebay listing.  If anyone local is interested I'll let it go for $180 FTF.  If not, goes to Ebay.

Thanks,
-Kyle

Real Firearms / Need access to a Beretta Storm rifle
« on: January 01, 2007, 11:38:32 PM »
Same deal as with the Five Seven.  BSG project and the Marines use the PX4 Storm rifles in the show.  I SWEAR I saw an airsoft version, a pic of one online, about a month ago but I can't find anything on it now.  I don't care if it's the sheapest springer made.  I just need to make molds of the rifle.  If anyone has one I can borrow for 2-3 days I'd be indebted to you.

Thanks muchly,
-Kyle

Real Firearms / WTB FN Five Seven for 48 hours
« on: January 01, 2007, 12:29:35 PM »
I know it's unlikely but I'm trying to find a local board member with an FN Five Seven handgun who would be willing to allow me to mold it. RTV silicone in no way harms anything on the gun and so long as the gun can be disassembled it can be molded without any complications. I'd need it for 48 hours and I'm willing to barter for its use. I have been asked to make a small run of the new Battlestar Galactica series sidearms and none of the available castings are clean enough (or available enough) and I don't own a 5.7 of my own. I don't have up-front funding for this job so I can't pay a lot for the loaner 5.7, but we can work something out if it's required. I know it'd a rare gun and that this is a comparatively small group, but if anyone is willing to help me out I'd appreciate it. I'll come get it and return it to you.

Thanks,
-Kyle

Introduce Yourself! / New to many of you...
« on: July 16, 2005, 09:16:14 PM »
Name's Kyle and I was one of the first 6-10 members of AA back when it was first forming.  Only a few guys here have played with AA longer than I have, though many have played MORE than I have, if you get my meaning.  I'm one of those "old guys who got married and flaked out on the game by choosing family over the hobby" I guess!  I left for a little more than a year to try out some other things and I'm back now.
My first big game was Operation Savage Garden 3 in Nevada almost five years ago, and since then I've recruited for AA, helped form many of the rules and regs along with the Admin and several other "old guys" here, attended several large away games and generally tried to push airsoft forward.  I'm coming back to the game now and look forward to meeting you all, both old and new faces.  Not to be confused with old and new feces, which is less enjoyably met.  Spelling matters around here...

As a note to the newer players, AAs very first away game was Savage Garden 3 and there were 6 Arizona players there to represent the state.  Compare that to the massive numbers you posted for LC4 and you'll have a good idea how far AA has come.  As someone recently stated, AA has become synonymous with airsoft in Arizona.  I am proud of that and hope to see it continue.

Sorry for the book, but hey...that's what I do.

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / M60E4
« on: April 04, 2004, 12:27:52 AM »
I bought this from Matt specifically for LC3, and I am now unable to attend the game.  I just bought a new home and the wifey wants new couches, curtains, upgraded tile, (so do I, but that sounds less manly...), etc.  This is FULLY upgraded and has a brand new piston installed.  All work done by Harley and The Crow.  Very high ROF.  Includes gun, sling, (upgrades, of course), 10.8V battery, side-mounted (bracket-mounted) battle pack ammo box for battery storage (very hard to find, and usually much too expensive), and the wiring has been run so that it goes into the box to the battery area.  The look is unique and authentic.  The gun is one of only 100 ever made and not many made it into the States.  Much improved bipod, much improved and sturdier foregrip, and overall high usage of metal.  Heavy gun.  Add a few linked dummy rounds (not included) and you're set.
I am offering it here for a few days to see if there is any interest, and it'll then go to the other sites.  I am also offering it here for exactly what I have into it...it's worth MUCH more.  $1600.  I paid Matt $1550, sling was $25, and the box was an additional $25.
For you SAW gunners going to LC3...if you're on the fence about which support gun to buy, consider this one.  You'll invest as much in buying and upgrading an M249, and shipping it to you, or spend what I'm offering this E4 for...and it's local already.  Ron?  Mikey?  If you haven't yet ordered your support guns, this is worth a look.
At any rate, it'll sell for more if it goes to the other sites and it could really be well-used by the AZ teams at LC3.  This is a highly collectible item and will not lose it's value over time.  Good investment, or good AEG.  Either way, AA has first dibs.
Thanks

General Airsoft Discussion / Otra vez, chau!
« on: January 20, 2004, 04:53:54 PM »
I've already said my farewells to all of you but I wanted to officially announce that I have ben hired by the US Border Patrol and will be reporting for duty on February 2nd.  This group has grown so much that I only know about half of you now, but carry on and keep this great sport alive.  If I ever have the chance to play again, it'll be with AA.
Thanks, and don't cross illegally in my sector!!

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Bolt's M4 for sale
« on: September 29, 2003, 01:10:33 PM »
Bolt's Armalite M15A4 is for sale.  It's highly upgraded internally, and is brand spanking new.  He used it in one game prior to the upgrades, that's it.  Perfect condition.  Configured as a standard M4 right now.  I also have the G&G RIS forearm (retails for $190) and a 9.6v 1700 mAh falt battery (built to fit the Guarder box, but can be reconfigured by Batteries Plus if desired).  No mag.  I need to sell everything, so it's cheaper as a package deal.  If nobody shows interest by Tuesday sometime this will go to Ebay.
$525 for all of it, and that is ridiculously cheap.  Local only, no shipping.  This is a local AA price.
Thanks

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Misc items for sale
« on: September 28, 2003, 05:55:38 PM »
This is what I have left.  After rummaging through my bag I have the following items for sale:

M4 riser mount.  This is the all metal mount that fits on the M4 upper rail, in place of the carry handle, and which elevates your optics.  Unit is complete with both knobs.
**SOLD**

CA M4 carry handle, all metal.
**SOLD**

Marui replica Aimpoint sight.  No frills, but it looks great and is every bit as effective as any other $30 sight out there.  No rings or mount, but has a new battery.
**SOLD**

Jungle tiger stripe BDUs.  New. XL Long size.  Jacket and trousers.
$50  ($120 new)

And lastly, (Christian, here she goes!) is the chest rig that I just bought from Wolf.  It's a great rig and it is very durable.  I thought it would work for my M1A mags, but only one pouch is large enough to hold a pair.  Holds 6 M4 mags in the front three pouches, but the vest can hold up to 10 if you use the SAW pouch as well.  Radio, pistol mags, etc. can be housed as well.  I paid $80 plus shipping.  Will sell for $50.

This was Scotty's gun.  It's a very good condition TM G36C.  The package includes two high cap mags, new metal bushings, a new M120 spring (@375FPS), one 9.6v 1500 mAh battery, a new M4-length inner barrel, a longer outer barrel with a machined K flash hider, a K forend (Dragon kit) WITH RAILS on both sides and along the bottom for mounting lights, etc., original box, and owner's manual.  The gun is tight and shoots well.  This is a good package for players of any level.  If no interest exists here it will go to Ebay on Friday.
Thanks.

$325.00 for local AA members

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Guarder AN PEQ XYZ469852FRT battery box for sale
« on: September 22, 2003, 10:23:52 AM »
I have no idea what the military nomenclature calls these things...I think it's the PEQ box.  This is ths Guarder version.  Detail is much sharper than the ICS version, and the method of getting the battery in and out of the box is much better with this one.  This is just for the box (all decals included), no battery.  This will fit any RIS system.

I'll trade it straight across for an M4 standard mag, or $25.00.

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / G36 mags

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Custom G36C/K package for sale
« on: September 08, 2003, 12:06:48 AM »
HUSH!  All of you just sit down, and hush!

This will be on Ebay shortly but I thought I'd mention it here as well.  This is a high end package and not for the feint of wallet.

TM G36C
REAL H&K G36K forearm ($100 value)
REAL H&K G36K shoulder stock ($250 value)
Dragon kit G36K carry handle
TN tight bore inner M4 barrel
Custom machined outer barrel and flash hider
REAL H&K tactical sling
Eleven (11) standard mags, NEW ($250 value for the 10 extras)
Metal bushings
New PDI 170% spring, 375fps

The gun shoots accurately and functions perfectly as do the magazines.  Overall condition is excellent, and it's just been overhauled by Harley.

$700 to AA LOCAL members, or $750 starting bid on Ebay in a few days.

I'm fulfilling Mikey's prophecy and getting an M4 variant.  (Perhaps Nick will part with my previous Shorty..?) I may consider trades, but I will not lose out on the deal.  I have $875 in this package and I want to outfit myself completely via the sale.

There is no "reason" for the sale.  This is what I do when I get bored.  Buying and selling is as much fun for me as playing.  I can't afford multiple AEGs at once, so I rotate them.  The buyer is effectively getting TWO guns with this deal.  CQB and Field use is handled in this one package.
Serious inquiries should be emailed to me directly, not posted here.  I also have clear pics I can email to SERIOUS buyers.
I WILL NOT SELL TO MINORS.  It is illegal.  Do not ask.

Thanks all.

General Airsoft Discussion / Free speech
« on: June 05, 2003, 03:41:20 PM »
I realize that this will be assumed to be aimed only at some recent postings, but it is time for a new reminder about "free speech" on these forums.  I am NOT specifying any one player or any particular post, and most of you know me and should trust me on that matter.
First off, this is not a governmental board.  We do not have an AA Constitution granting all posters absolute free reign.
This is a public forum, yet a private one as well.  It is maintained by a single individual and a few Moderators.  The site owner has all rights to determine what will be edited, deleted, or otherwise closely observed.  That precludes any notion of true free speech.  The Moderators have the same ability and obligation.  It is used very rarely.  I am a Moderator myself, and I have never deleted a post, for example.  I usually try to work it out with the poster either online or off rather than removing things.  There are (and will continue to be) cases in which the information in the posts is either so irrelevant, aggressive, or confusing that the post will be edited or deleted.  It isn't censorship.  It's control, sure, but for the benefit of the many other people who view and use these boards.  I joke and poke and prod on these boards as much as anyone.  It's a fun place.  I refer to posts that either encourage illegal activity, questionable suggestions, unsafe practices, or simply do not in any way apply to what is being asked or stated in the thread.
Remember also that it is the specific post that is being edited or deleted, and not the account of the person who posted.  Nobody has been banned from the boards for making a statement that didn't fit that I can recall.  I have had posts deleted myself.
Differing opinions are not targeted by the Moderators.  Every player has a differing view.  It's why we don't all carry MP5s and wear one BDU type.
Lastly, very few edits or deletions are made unless/until several emails have been sent to the Moderators suggesting it or asking for it.  It's rarely the vote of one, but the requests of many.
I have joked about Free Speech here as well, but in jest.  This is a great place to congregate, but that right is not without limitations.  Almost all of us do a great job here and our name is growing across the country.  Most of us have messed up here as well.  There are no judgements intended in this post, just reminders.  This is an outstanding group of players and I am very proud to be one of you.
Thanks, and keep it coming.
-Kyle
