Anyone Military?
Well I'm not allowed to make a new topic so anyway......

My name is Patrick, I'm prior service Marine Corps and now serve in the Az Army National Guard, I have 4 MOS's 11B (0311), 13B, 88H (3051), 92Y.

If anyone is military have you guys been Mob'd/Deployed? I have 3 tours and no scars!

I'm wondering how many Devil Dogs and Soldiers are out here playing this? Looks kinda fun to me, good way to brush up on skills and sure beats a 2 way firing range to do so.

Anyway I'd like to try this out some weekend, I work in Recruiting so i am busy almost all the time, but would love to check this stuff out, I have my own gear, and uniforms obviously, but if I can make it out to a game can someone lend me a rifle?

Thanks

Yeah thats me in the pic below running convoys during my last tour in the sand box. I was a team leader on a gun truck. and yeah its hotter then an mf'er in the summertime while wearing an iba, snd rolling in a humvee with no ac.

i'm glad to see there are other prior soldiers on here. I'm gonna do my best to make it out to a game. I have drill this weekend but maybe if theres something going on next weekend I can make it out.

Mal, nice to see another Guardsman on these boards!

There are several other soldiers, Marines, and airmen here.  A few of us are deployed right now, you'll find out who sooner or later. ;)

Again, welcome, and I look forward to seeing you all on the field.  8)

AzSarge,

You with the 1/285 over in Afgan? hows life treating you guys?

I almost went with the 153rd over there, but I wasn't needed. but there are a ton of changes to the state comming soon, I'd say more but, opsec.

I'm glad there are other combat vets on here though. I hope you guys the best over there I know you guys hoped for us! good luck.

Nothing, I've often remarked that it's one of the cooler MOS in the Army.

very true.  im looking into doing it in AZ.  have to talk to the chief i suppose, as the recruiter doesnt know much abtou them.  i was just at the natG. building last week too, the SGM said it was across the street, so i guess we'll see.  any of you guys Officers?  the GF is part of the HHC battallion in Tempe, HHC 158th CSSB, but i guess i mispoke, her MOS is 42A20, not 92Y20

A \'touchy-feelie\' CNN reporter, while interviewing a Marine sniper,asked,
"What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist."  The Marine shrugged and replied, "Recoil."
