FOUND at Left 4 Dead
« on: March 09, 2011, 09:53:22 PM »
FOUND: x1 Vanguard field bb that was "lost" by a civilian team member during Left 4 Dead. Please pm me to claim your possession and explain to me how a pistol shooting under the posted fps limits came to live in my forehead since the event.

Holy crap! That reminded me of when I accidently shot my friend in the lip with my non-upgraded sniper rifle. We thought his lip just swelled up really fast and that part of the bb chipped off and was just sitting on top of his lip. Then he popped it like a zit...it still gives me the shivers thinking about it.

Actually it came out tonight when the scab came off. There was so much blood and trauma to the area that I never thought in a million years the bb could still be in the wound, but I was wrong. It's been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized and well on the way to healing without a scar, but this picture was the most dramatic to post. Lol

CO2 pistol is correct.

Thats pretty bad when I can call that one. Hope it dont get infected and this should be a tip to those running games that sometimes chronoing pistols may be a good idea.

Something like that happened to me at the first L4D, except not nearly as bad   The bb was just resting on the surface of my shoulder

Holy crap!  Even when you sat out for the rest of the round that night it never even occurred to me that there was a BB in there.

It's one thing to get hit hard enough to have a huge welt, but to get hit hard enough that the BB embeds itself below the skin? WOW!

Glad your alright.
