Damn that must really suck... my girl had 800 put in the bank but they did something wrong and it should up that she -800 insted. But it was fixed up. You should talk to your bank I'm sure they will help out. Good luck.

Pisses me off too to see people that are such low lives... and at the end I bet they use it for drugs. These type of people should be killed insted of just crowding up the jails taking our tax money as well.

It happened to me once, luckily my bank noticed that I'm not a frequent flyer and that I have never even been to Europe before. (The suckers bought a ticket in France)

as annoying as it is and as much as i hate the bank, bank of america watches for stuff like that and calls me immediately when it detects unusual activity, and if they can't get ahold of me, they deactivate the account until i talk to them.

AZFCU does the same thing, and while it does help prevent that sort of thing it needs some work.  It happens EVERY TIME I do business with Redwolf.  They need you to be able add "safe retailers" so they don't block it.

Call your credit card company it’s not just card fraud they have your identity. Most of the card companies have ID theft assistance. If that company doesn’t call your insurance company and see if you have it through them. The ID theft people can help you with the credit agencies and put fraud alerts on your files. Most companies offer it FREE to there customers.

If they are doing withdrawals, then they should be on tape withdrawing the money. They couldn't use the ATM unless they have your card and pin (they have cameras too). I would think the police would be able to get the tapes and see who is withdrawing the money. Could even be a known person.

So do they actually have your card or just the necessary billing info?

I had someone trying to charge over $200 at burger king on one of my cards last month. Visa caught it, called me, and cancelled the charges. Card never left my possession and it is one I rarely use. I have a short list of websites that could have compromised it. I got a new card number and all is well now. It does suck.

But seriously, who the fuck buys that much at burger king over the course of two days?

By the way, does anyone here work at burger king or know a way to look up their store numbers? I'm curious as to where this went down.
