GBB piston heads & enhanced loading nozzles
« on: August 26, 2010, 07:06:02 PM »
Do you get a noticable performance difference using aftermarket piston heads and enhanced loading nozzles in GBB pistols? Or are these things just snake oil?

For example:

Depends on the pistol and the part.  IE replacing a crappy ACM nozzle with a Guarder one will help.  Replacing a TM one with an ACM?  Probably not so much.

Stock WE ones with those? It's not that I'm having any issues with the performance of my gun, but if a simple upgrade is out there, I would like to go ahead and get it out of the way. I'm already ordering from ehobby, and neither of those is big/heavy enough to change my shipping rates.

I've generally only considered them as a replacement for broken or extremely poorly made ones.  I doubt you are going to gain much on a WE.

I figured as much.
I'll just settle for an upgraded recoil spring and a good cleaning in that case.

Thanks!
