AGM/WA stock thread issue
« on: August 28, 2010, 03:15:55 PM »
I bought one of those 'experimental' Magpul stocks from Evike.com (you know, the ones they put in the boneyard) that is supposed to be compatible with WE and Western Arms GBB rifles for my AGM M4, but the thread sits too far back on the part of the stock tube that screws into the lower receiver.  I'm wondering if anyone else has this stock and if there's something I'm missing in what was supposed to be a simple stock installation.

Its listed as "A&K limited edition Expermiental Retractable stock for airsoft gas blowback M4".

I can't help you without seeing it but I can tell you the base platform you are working with is riddled with problems and flaws! Move to the KJW before you spend all your hard earned money!

I'll try to find my camera (although I've been searching for it anyhow for sometime now) and get some pictures... And looking at the AGM/WA M4 series, I realized that I would have some issues as soon as I got a mag through it (or most of one anyways)...  I think it does pretty good for a Chinese clone though...  Is the brand WE any good?  I'm debating between the WE L85 and the GHK G36 as my next GBB.

Both are pieces of crap. Go over to arnies airsoft and gas guns info and pretty much everyone that has had one will tell you how much they have spent trying to keep them running. The kjw is skirmish worthy out of the box with just a few quick turns of the hex wrench and some loctite and you are GTG!!   PM Raven1, he, myself and a few other members currently have KJW m4's and can attest to their greatness. If you want to see one Nil8r who owns gearbox has one thats currently in the works or I can swing by gearbox and show you mine.  8)
