Suggestions for Back Up Gas Pistol

Hey guys, after years of owning aegs and having a gbb many years a go, would like to buy one again for close quarters games. Any recommendations for pistols to buy? Main things I would like in the gun
- Metal construction
- dont mind if gbb or nbb
- cheap mags (preferable around $20 a mag)
- $100-$150 range
- easy to find spare parts
- 300ish fps

^LOL! If you suddenly want to add reliable to that mix of requirements and don't mind spending closer to $40 each on mags, then pick up a KWA and don't look back.

I personally haven't had a problem with any of the WE pistols I've had. I've heard many bad and also many good reviews from different people. I own their G17 and an MEU and don't have problems with either one. I've owned one of their M9's before and also didn't have a problem with it. I get WE because they are cheap compared to a few other brands and they have so many spare parts lying around. But unfortunately Mace was right, they aren't always reliable. With that being said, I honestly rarely ever get the chance to use my pistol in actual game so WE is perfect for me.

If you want a reliable gun then get a KWA M9 PTP. Believe it costs like 140-160 on evike and mags cost 30$.

I love my we pistol. It's a 5.1 1911. It's a single stack too so it's good for realism and the mags are only 19.50 on evike. The gun was only 100 and it's very good on gas.

My We hi-capa pistols are great, but I have about $70 more of tech in them.
My KWA's are all stock, and they work fantastic as well

Depends what model you want.

WE 1911/1911 hi capa guns are a fantastic choice. I can get a used one for $50, and broken ones for less, parts abound. AND its compatible 100% with TM, and there are millions of TM 1911 upgrades out there thanks to the race gun guys.

WE builds can be done rather cheaply


-Start small and cute

-Make the insides FAST

-Make the gun accurate
-All for <$200
