Problem with my KJworks 1911 .45
« on: January 19, 2006, 12:56:50 AM »
So finally get my Green gas and go to test out my new Colt. First shot rang with sweet sweet metalic Clangs and the sound of the BB hitting my Target Box. I pull the trigger again but the Slid was half Cocked.
( The Clip was Full on Gas and BB's -1) I decided to go to work cause i was nearly late. I get back break down the gun every thing seemed in working order so i reloaded and went to give it another go and same thing.

I poped out the clip and The  /( ) Were the BB next up in line to be shot is like razor Sharp. And the BB's are getting jammed in it. So

1. Should i grind that down a little.

2. Go back to JT and see if i can get a replacement mag.

Any help would be much appreciated.

*Update* Prior to prepariong to go to sleep i decided to drop the clip out. As the clip fell i hear a ping on the ground and a peice of the clip has broken of. So option 2 it is JT better replace this mag at least.

Go to JT.

And call it a magazine from now on, instead of a clip.

You mentioned that you "finally" got green gas for it - how long have you had it? It only has a 14 day warranty. Bring it by one of our locations, and we'll do what we can to hook you up.

Also, it's made by KJW, not Jungletoy. We sell 'em, not make 'em.

What you're describing is is a lack of pressure to push the slide fully backward. Happens with the WE Hi-Capa if you use green gas and it's too cold out (not enough pressure). Switch to Reg Gas - you'll be happier trust me.

The warranty goes by date of purchase, not the day the money was withdrawn from your account. I'll find out about it in the morning, and I'll let you know what we can do.
