General Off-Topic Discussion / Real Steel weapon question

was just wondering, what weapon is current issue to Designated Marksmen? i ask because i plan on enlisting in august when i turn 18 (sooner if i can convince the folks to give concent) and am torn between trying for SAW gunner or DM...also, anyone here ever been a DM?

**note** i know i should know what weapon it is, but sometimes i see em with M4's and sometimes with the fancy new M-14's..

Site Suggestions / tactics section

ok, did a search on here, and couldnt find this anything much like my idea here. if i missed it, please forgive me.

i was thinking that it may be cool to have an entire section devoted to tactics. a place where different tactics could be discussed, tactical ideas could be introduced, and articles/links to article which have been helpfull could be posted.

overall, i think it would be kind of nice. i know over the years i have read more article on tactics than i can count, but only a few were new and informatve...it would be nice to have a place to look for articles that have been found usefull. also, i know in the minds of AA's users, there must sit a lot of knowlage, and ideas, that havent yet been tested or discussed.


just my thoughts.....

Troubleshooting / **problem solved, took teh POS back, got something better

ditched the POS, and got something i wanted more....a sniper rifle....thansk for the help i was given
