As a direct response to Ivan you must have me figured out already with the attitude in your post. I won't even waste my time with a person like you. Our unit USJTF is something I'm guessing no one in Arizona knows about since we do not have a unit in that state. If you wish to educate yourself http://usjtf1.wix.com/recruiting is our page. We are world wide organization with a LOT of members. We unite units from all over the world under one name for the sake of having quality players who respect each other and can have a good time. To my knowledge all of our command staff is former military. Any unit already in operation can join us and fall in under us. There is little that has to be done to call yourself one of our members but you are expected to be the quality player that people want to play with. Not the cheater that makes life terrible for others.

That's right. I do know you already. I've been in this sport since you were 4. And I've seen em come and go that were just like you. Can't take no for an answer. Probably has a closet full of participation trophies. Using this game thread for recruiting new teammates. Yep. We've seen your type and have you figured out. I just can't wait to have the pleasure of Meeting you on the playing field where I will possibly shoot you in the taint. Multiple times.

Yes. I'm being an asshole now.

Airsoft Items WANTED / Looking for G&G MP5 SD front end.
« on: July 07, 2014, 09:00:56 PM »
I have the G&G mp5 A4 non suppressed front end. I am looking for the suppressed version. I can trade my front end plus cash for yours. My front end has a threaded end and 3 railed sections you can attach crap to.

The standard marui front end will not work.

Also If anyone knows where I can locate this let me know. My Google fu is apparently too weak to turn up anything.

Yeah I was going to add that. It is their game they can choose what they want but it is still a lazy way of not dealing with something. Heck I'd wear pink tape arm bands on both my arms to identify what team I was on. Seems like that would be an easy solution to people who wear different camo. Each team marked with a color. Nothing for me to worry about though. Right now I'm just getting an idea of what games are out there because our plans are to get USJTF rolling out there.

I used to play at Mr. Paintball in Escondido CA. And let me tell you- it was a consistent clusterfuck.

They allowed all types of camo at the weekend games. Then they divided up the teams into two groups. One mostly tan. One mostly green. But more often then not there were groups of friends on the same team who refused to be split up and as a result there was tan and greens in the same team.

Then they put blue or green or yellow tape on the arms.

Problem is though --

sometimes all you see is a leg. Or an ass. Or a back. Or turned sideways just right.... Sneaking through the bushes (like Prescott's terrain) it's hard to differentiate. So I usually just shoot and then ask questions later.

Friendly fire is a bitch.

Not to mention some of us like to spend $$dollars$$ on our sweet setup and try to be as stealthy as possible. Nothing like a big yellow or green or blue piece of tape to let others know where you're hiding. Yay. Turd in the punchbowl...

So think of this as milsim. You're probably looking to attend an airsoft match. Or game or whatever. The ones where goobers run around with dragon guns and pulse rifles and yell pew pew pew and don't have a radio or know anything about tactics or team cohesion.

Those games are hosted weekly at vanguard and fighter town. Nothing wrong with them but again- this is a milsim game.

But then again I've only been playing for over 15 years and what do I know?!

I've watched a great sport that was once highly regarded as an honorable persons game where people were very polite and followed the rules, called all hits even if it was questionable and regarded safety with priority into a game inundated with cheaters, whiny players and just all out disrespect for safety.

So green or tan. Save the MC or ATACS for the park skirmishes. I'm sure it wouldn't kill anyone to have one more set of BDU. I have 6 different sets.

So I think this is anything BUT lazy. It's much more work to petition people for uniformity.

In closing - The whale

That is why.

See in the old days of AA we used to show up in woodland or dcu. Choco chip was acceptable but it made the game much easier. MC is hard to distinguish. I say if it's a deal breaker to NOT wear MC stay home for this one.

AEG's / Re: Mic your mp5 mags for me (mids)
« on: June 20, 2014, 06:55:35 PM »
Thanks toast. I appreciate it. Looks like I'm just gonna have to try a few different brands. The matrix might work. The 60 rounder I have fits really tight.

AEG's / Mic your mp5 mags for me (mids)
« on: June 20, 2014, 01:13:45 AM »
So I installed a p* in a G&G mp5 and it's pretty nice. Pretty sound little smg. But here's the prob. The mids I picked up fit loose as hell inside the magwell and it makes feeding a pain in the ass.

I mic'd my metal high caps (they fit and feed great)

Came out at 1.37" long and .90" wide.

My mids mic'd out at 1.35" by .87".

The magwell on this g&g is 1.38 by .91".

Pretty tight for the hi caps but jiggly for the mids.

Can someone mic their mid e1 mags, MAG brand?  SOB.

Thanks.

Ya dude. Marana is an hour drive for me. I'd have been at his doorstep with the po'lice an hour after I got that package in the mail. That's fraud and generally not cool anyways. I'm assuming there was a return address on the package?

Bravo company 11,400 points. Alpha company 4000 points! They got owned!

Chris. You aren't even allowed any revelry in your purported bravo win. I heard you turned pussy and went home after your gun went down.  And another thing - when you get shot at an LC event you stop where you get shot and call for a medic. Or wait the 5 minutes. Then head to respawn. Not walk off like you don't care.    All my disdain aside I still follow the game rules.

We went as alpha. But here's how it went down :

Bravo had all the vehicles. As usual all of the comm channels were jacked up. We were stepped every couple of privacy channels so if we were in a building with another squad we stepped all over each other.  Game control was using low power midiland/talk abouts. :-/. Lame.

Communication with our LT was almost non existent. We got told to go to a grid and secure a building first day. So we did. Then we waited. Then we got no updated SITREP from our upper COC. So we continued to wait until lunch. We were told to head back to original FOB so we did. No one there.

We were close to the enemy FOB in essence. Walked all the way back to out original FOB and ate lunch in the field. Apparently we were the only ones.

After the break we were told to head back out to the enemy's prior FOB. Where we had been originally to start. We were switching sides but we already knew that. So it was a unnecessary walk in the complex. Seriously?

At our original FOB we tried to get a ride from an empty deuce and they said no dice. Not working for alpha this year. WTF?

And shit like this happened allllll day afterwards and the next day. No one knew what was going on anywhere. I'm convinced that most of the players are just fodder for the 'cool guys' that are in JL's circle and some select people from here and there.

It's all good. But I myself will be doing something more constructive next year with my 5-600$ instead of driving in shitty California traffic, dealing with shitty game mechanics and feeling very un satisfied with the experience overall.

It hasn't always been like this. LC10 was probably the best time I've ever had at a John Lu event. But it was only cause I got separated from my squad and went off my own with teammate Art. Then I actually got to see interesting stuff instead of apartment sitting a f'ing day.

John Lu's events have progressively gotten blah. Had more fun at Airsofter1's event out at the NG training facility a few years ago.

So next year they can suck it. Save your money.
