Completely New

Read something about airsoft on craigslist and thought I'd check it out.  Few minutes later I found this place.  

I'm a complete noob to all of this.  Sort of playing video games and watching the SWAT reality series, I have no experience, but have always had an interest in this.

I live in North Phoenix and am looking for a way in.  Preferably with a group/person that likes to help new people, especially a person like me that will start low and slow.  I would like to learn about everything and learn how to upgrade everything on my own instead of buying it right away or having someone do it for me.

Anyway...nice to meet everyone...talk to you soon hopefully...

Well first off welcome to the community you found the right place to learn. So many helpful people here that will help you decide on gear and gun alike.

Living in north phoenix you will want to talk with jacob (fourwheeltrooperguy) or luis(beanz3r) they are part of rebel union and are a great group to play with and learn the sport with

My only regret is that I didn't find this sport sooner. Life has its calling and is making me leave the sport

on behalf of phx shadows i would like to welcome you to the sport. we run a millsim field as a division of cow town we host every weekend. all ages are welcome. we have a family friendly environment with cheep prices. there is going to be a pick up game this coming sat if you wana check us out let us know and rsvp. i know i have 3 team members that live on the Scottsdale Tempi border that you might be able to carpool with they make the drive every weekend if you have any questions feel free to ask either me, halfbreed or stryker.
