Airsoft Equipment Specials / Mossy Oak T's
« on: September 04, 2004, 10:08:12 PM »
I just came back from Walmart & found Mossy Oak Camo Tshirts for $4.50/each. All sizes. Pocketed. They had a huge inventory, but there were a lot of people buying them also. I picked up 5, & theyre very comfortable...

Accessories & Gear / Redwolf...
« on: August 22, 2004, 11:18:43 PM »
Hi all, hopefully this is the proper forum for this, so here goes...

After searching high & low for cheap, but also reliable, airsoft gear I came across RedwolfAirsoft.com & found everything I need. My question is, has anyone ordered from them?
They are based in Hong Kong, so shipping would obviously be a little costly, but their prices are significantly lower then anything I've seen locally. Case in point: Redwolf has the SIG 552 for $211 while I've priced it elsewhere for over $350

I've compiled a list of basic equipment I'd need(aeg, tac vest, bdu, batteries, mags, etc) total cost of around $700 Is this an average price to get started? Also, is it advised/fun to play in a match with just a pistol? Pinging around the backyard is fun, but playin a real game is much better...

I've gotten a lot of help from these forums, I'd just like to say thank you to everyone. Newbies like me are very greatful for all your help...hopefully I'll be joining you in person for an op sometime soon

Accessories & Gear / Eye protection...?
« on: August 22, 2004, 11:33:43 AM »
Hello, I haven't been into airsoft for that long, & in fact havent seen a live game yet. I have been looking at pics from past games, & noticed no one wearing eye glasses(prescription)in game. Is this because no one happens to need them, or do glasses interfer with goggles/masks?
Contacts tend to annoy me, & I seriously doubt my glasses could stop a point blank shot @ 400fps. If anyone has a suggestion it would be much appreciated...Thank You
You can certainly debate with someone without resorting to personal attacks.

Apparently some cant, & I'm leaving the forums because of it. I dont need to be degraded by anyone for giving my opinion, especially someone that doesnt know me personally. I've seen many personal attacks on those that disagree with the majority of people on here, all of which are obviously tolerated by the mods. Its not worth my time/effort to defend myself on every post I make, from 10 different people. There are a few that have similar opinions, & all have been given the same treatment. I will never encourage anyone to join AA...Goodbye.

A main point of gun registration is for police protection. If for any reason they need to enter your home, they should know that youve got enough weapons in the house to arm the state before they go in. I think thats a very good reason for gun registration...
Now why are you (along with 95% of the Airsoft Arizona population) so stuck on verbally attacking and insulting those who do not share the same opinions and views on things as you do? Do you think that your way is the only way? Because there is a reason we, for example, have 2 political parties. It is so that both sides are seen and brought into clear view. Once both views are present, that is when the debating and ill spoken words of the opposing side should be had.

After my multiple run-ins with you on the forums, Harley, I fear that joining AA once I get a sponser or turn 18 is going to be extremely difficult (not to mention I would have to take a lot of **** at AA games from anyone who didn't like what I wrote on AA). Now is this really what you wan't to do to all of the people who voice opinions other than those you have? I doubt it...

Thank you.

After being called a fag by harley, & then seeing him backed up by everyone, yes I got defensive. Wouldnt you Joe? Harley does not know me personally, & made a very personal comment about me. It doesnt really suprise me, considering I had a different opinion then one of you, & those that have disagreed have been outcasts afterward. Its nice to know that an "open" forum for airsoft is being converted into a popularity contest. As stated in the other thread, I'll no longer post opinion anymore, but I see you people will still continue to insult & instigate me. All I've heard is bad things about this forum, starting to see why...

Greg, youre 100% right. I've been on enough forums to know how they work. So from now on, as stated in another thread, Ill only post about AA events, & equipment. Its not worth the effort defending myself on every topic from 10 different people...
You sound pretty anti gun. I like hot rods, but I dont own one. I dont go to car shows to give people ****.

Youre right, except I'm not giving people ****. Unless youre calling my opinion ****. Which I know youre more mature then that. But you do have a point. I just simply wont post about my opinion anymore...Solve everyones problem.

What got me so pissed was that comment. To act like drive bys never happen completely blows my mind. People seem to think crime only happens in low income areas, not true. Violent crime happens everywhere. Its those sheltered people that dont realize that. I wasnt refering to him as rich suburban ****, his statement simply sounds like one they would make...

Mr Joe, I do realize people like to shoot. But you need to realize you cant just say "move" as the answer. You dont know how those people live. They could be broke as hell, about to be living on the street. They deserve help, not an eviction notice...
